Milking Procedures for Maximum Milk Quality

At 6:55 notice all the manure that is on the teat cup on the left. You would think that a university produced instructional video intended to show and promote methods of producing quality milk would at least have clean milking machines attached to the cow's teats. Shame on them.

On our farm we do things SLIGHTY different. we:1. pre dip, :2. strip, :3. clean the teats :4. put pipes on. Now every morning I work alone as everyone else seems to have a major problem getting out of bed. This morning I tried the timing (between steps :2 and :4 and only managed 1 and 1/2 cows. before I was doing 3 or 4 at a time. I will do a video of myself milking cows (if I remember my camera) and post it. please give me advise on how to pace myself better.
