  • Loved the video - and the music - well done. Most excellent Mango!

  • @Utuber33 Thanks :)

  • Great video, and soundtrack! The kids cheered in awe at the Mango. When they grow up most will at it as an oddity. Too bad most of us loose that childlike wonder.

  • @anim8ted923 Thanks. I think the Mango actually brings out the inner child in a lot of adults. I get plenty of smiles in it! :)

  • Incredible, good job mate

  • yeah :D if my velombile building project actually goes ahead and get finished :D i'd be more than happy to come cruising with you :D

  • hey there how often do you go out in your velomobile you dont see alot of them around brisbane. someone should make a velomobile hire business based out of brisbane :D that would be awesome

  • @grovestreetninja I use it to commute to work on Thursdays & Fridays and I'm often riding it about on the weekend or on a Monday - sometimes at night.

I'd just like to find another velomobile rider so we can go cruising together! :)

  • Do people know that it is human powered?

Did some of the police get suspicious and think you were a car?

  • everyday i pray for higher gasoline prices

so that it will make sense for me to get one of this

  • Great Video!

I'm curious, have you ridden the Quest as well? What's the difference between the two?

Thanks for the ride. Love that Flevo top!!

  • @palmvictory I have not ridden a Quest so I can't make a comparison. I have heard they're similar but the Quest is more aerodynamic. That's about all I know!

  • Hey

We met up on the bikeway just before you crossed the intersection onto Gregory Terrace that morning. I got a couple of pics of you riding off towards the RNA.

Would be great to catch up and talk more about your GoPro and video editing. Are you using final cut or imovie?

    Regards Peter

  • @Cycleeast Hi Peter, I'd be happy to meet up one day. Just send me an email/PM. I'm using iMovie as it is just so quick and easy. I don have Final Cut Pro but I only use that fore more complicated work. iMovie is perfect for this work I think - a very capable application.

  • Cool Paul.... I want one! :) I like the music too.... gets you fired up...ha ha

  • @fietsya Thanks! :)

  • Nice video!

I'll be doing my usual 84km Friday commute tomorrow in my Red Edition :-)

  • @pjotr320 Thanks Pjotr! I only wish I had enough bikeways to be able to travel that far! :(

  • I love your captions and comments on screen! Frogger, where do you keep the fridge... in the back of course! Great video. looks like a fun ride.

  • @dregerclock Thanks. It certainly is a great ride and so comfortable. I'm going in a charity ride (100km) in April and I will be taking a packed lunch - which I will be able to eat while riding! :)

  • @nitramluap that is great! I am doing a 100 mile ride in may for the diabetes association. they are providing food along the way so I won't have to carry it... might stash a few things in the bag though! ;-)

  • great video and roads mate. thanks for sharing

  • @ardenro Thanks! :)

  • Paul, that was really excellent to see.

  • @DavidHembrow Thanks for the comment, David!

  • That was Awesome. Absolutly Brilliant.

A charity ride and they tell you if you can't keep up you have to drop out? I guess you showed them....(-; You were flying!

I did a local charity ride in my Quest. 100 km. 3 big hills and a lot of smaller hill between 16 to 50 km, the rest rolling. I was approached by a number of roadies at the beginning who ask how long it would take me. I said 3 hrs and they all laughed. I did it in 3 hrs & 5 mins.

Way behind me, they wouldn't tell me their times.

  • @MewFushisDad Haha :)

It was originally called a 'race' (a bit silly) then it changed to a 'ride'.

It is only the really steep hills that slow me down but I'm not much slower than an average roadie on such hills. Considering the velomobile weighs just under 30kg, that's pretty good I think. On the flat and downhill I clearly leave them behind. Wind resistance makes an enormous difference above speeds of 20km/h.

For that ride (only 21km) I averaged 30km/h which I was happy with.
