For my 10" Wheelock I've noticed that the sound comes out of the rear of the bell. When it's mounted of course the sound deflects off the wall which makes it louder. Really good design. What I'd like to hear are some 10" Simplexes and 10" Potters.

I love the simplex 10''s, they sound deep.

same with the wheelocks
