I agree, he was also really rude to me when I met him back in the early '90s. I wished I had never met him then, kinda ruined it for me. I still have all the albums (yes, vinyl that I purchased in the '80s) of course, and a Camper Van Chadbourne, I met Eugene Chadbourne too (different occasion, solo) and he was a real sweetie.
