  • This is TRULY one of the funniest movies EVER made!

  • James Garner is very handsome in a tux, but better in his Maverick duds

  • What a treat to see this movie today on 3/2/2012 when Doris Day is still living on planet earth ! THANK YOU !

  • been looking for this for ages ..thank you !!..love it when the car drives in to the new swimming pool...the last few years of American bliss before the blight set in from 1964...

  • I still remember watching the doris day show as a kid. I have always loved her.

  • omg....the kids are precious!

  • To the one who posted this-Thank You. One of my favorite films, and yes I saw it back in the day.

Don't figure out my age, LOLOLOLOLOL.

  • I wish they would show "The GlassBottom Boat" with Doris Day. One of her best movies!

  • I remember Arlene Francis from "What's my Line" back in the 60's

  • I love the idea that this wonderful movie centered around pregnancy and babies being born was released the same year I was born.

  • At 24:27 -- that's a very young Bernie Kopell from Love Boat and Get Smart, and the Nazi interrogator is actually Carl Reiner! They're so young here, they're almost unrecognizable!

  • I love the concept of separate beds in the bedroom...especially as I've gotten older.

  • How can husband and wife sleep on separate beds in the same room?

  • A whole other world of values, Doris Day's exuberance sparkles with Garner creating a chemistry timeless. Arlene Francis with all the color and hues of whimsy, perfect comedy absolutely endearing!

  • Enjoyed it, thanks! How very enchanting Gardner is in this. I thought it might aim just a little higher in the ending than "a woman's place is in the kitchen, barefoot & pregnant, in servitude. But she was expected to do everything she was doing plus the new job, where he has one job & no home duties. But then, that dynamic's still true today in some homes.

  • @sweetlime7 Yes! I think this's the 1st time I've seen them together. How very charming & sublimely SEXY he is! Who knew?!

  • I really like the chemistry between Day and Gardner

  • Love those huge old cars, the 60's hair-dos, smoking everywhere including the hospital, not to mention the women-should-stay-home-with-the-kids-and-be-happy....sigh. Times have changed, eh?

  • Great movie, great dialoges. My favorite scene is where Beverly is talking to Mike Palmer and Beverly's husband Gerald Boyer is coming in.

By the way does anyone know the tune that is used in the scene where Gerald is riding on a horse to the baby ( 1:43:04 )?

  • I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND ALL OLD MOVIES WITH DORIS DAY!!!

  • Feel-good stuff....thanks for uploading :-)

  • Arlene Francis has an amazing laugh!! the beginning is the best part!

  • @envy16kate ~ How can anybody not love Arlene? She was a joy!

  • do you always sleep with a bat!!!??

  • Yes!!! I would love to see "Move over Darling"!!!! That's soooo very much for all of these amazig films:) you are the best!!!!

  • Sooooo cute!!!! Thanks!!!!

  • Many thanks for all of your great uploads, especially the ones starring James Garner. If you happen to have 'The Wheeler Dealers / Separate Beds' featuring JG & Lee Remick, that would be greatly appreciated.

  • Do you have "Move Over, Darling", another great one with Day and Gardner?

  • Do you have "Move Over, Darling", another movie with Day and Gardner?

  • Thank you for uploading another great movie. Dorris Day and James Garner great chemistry.

  • thank you for this great channel!!!

  • Burt Mustin is so cute here as the butler. I always enjoyed his character on the Andy Griffith show.

  • I don't know why, but when I watch this movie, no matter I feel, it makes me happy! Thank you again..:-)

  • Thanks for all these great movies. I was wondering why some of your movies are ONO. I didn't have time to watch all of Separate Tables or Come Back Little Sheba and was so disappointed.

  • I nearly lost it when I couldn't find it. Yippee - it's back. Thank you, thank you!
