He was like God. He was like Mussolini. He was like the guy down the street whose wife I screwed the other day.
He was great, he was great. He didn't shit, he only thought about it. He didn't die, he flapped his wings and ascended into the heavens three days after he croaked. (And he wasn't even Jewish.)
Oh, he was great, he was great! His ass should be bronzed. His overcoat should be dry cleaned. His dick should be found and canonized. He was great!
@irish89055 I'm in Richmond and would love to meet Boyd Dowler and have him sign his football card. I also have a recording of me talking to Santa in 1968 and telling him Boyd and Bart Starr were my favorite players.
There was talk Vin was going to quit coaching after the '67 season...I saw Rams (11 point favorites) lose to Vin's Packers in the NFC Playoff in Milwaukee...I wept because I had seen his last game in my hometown. I think the McCarthy teams will have to go some before they're Glory Days equals. ..will have to win 2 SBs.
this footage is avalable in "The History of the Green Bay Packers" i got the VHS Video... Thumbs Up!

At 2:34 there's a touchdown run by Jim Taylor. CHECK OUT the offensive lineman #76 he runs 85 yards down field to throw a block!
THE GREATEST EFFORT PLAY I'VE EVER SEEN.

@ tweak. Seems to me a terrible omission. If you have a chance, read Keith Dunnavant's biography of Bart Starr. A great book.
