They are very scary looking creatures but you have to push them quite a bit till they go for a bite.

To be honest, I wouldn't know as I don't have a gopro. In general, red filters are great for blue water! But have a look at the comparison videos on youtube. also see if people use "magic filters" for gopros. could be a cheap solution.
