Used to sing this one with my brother in the so called plastic Paddy bars in england, he passed away six years ago. God I miss him. Thanks for the memory
I love this song so much, haven't heard it for about 20 years, reminds me of being a kid listening with my mum and dad, brilliant memories, I don't mind telling you it brought a tear to my eyes, thankyou.
If we must grow old and not be able to dream, at least we will have those thoughts of loving someone. What better way to remember! The thoughts of loving someone NEVER go away. They do live forever within our heart. The love is safe there.
Catalpa, I'd never heard this song sung by the Fureys, but I greatly enjoyed it. Is that top left gentleman in the picture by chance Robbie O'Connell, the nephew of the Clancy Bros.? Thanks so much! Jan from Georgia
love love love these guys, what better music than to reminisce and remember better days, or people who have since passed on, beautiful music and voices of angels
A beautiful version. Loved it. Fred.

I think it's from their Golden Days album, a lovely tone from the banjo.
