  • The Civil War/Northern Aggression was fought for land and industry not slavery.

  • No nation rises, stands, or falls without the will of God. Bottom line, God did not will it. Lincoln said it best when he proclaimed "We both prayed for a fast victory and instead were given this long bloody war." Lincoln also believed that this long bloody war was God's judgement upon the nation for tolerating slavery proclaiming "Every drop of blood drawn by the lash is to be repaid with blood drawn by the sword."

  • The Civil War WAS about States Rights but not in the way that some say today. The South attacked the Federals to FORCE them to accept slavery in northern states. Even most of the southern secessionist documents passed by the confederate legislatures says so. IF you disagree I suggest that you search on line to read them yourself before responding. I have. The internet is a wonderful thing to reveal the truth.

  • I liked it until that woman flashed me at the end. Thumbs down.

  • Video very well done! Now maybe people who have debated for over 100 years will see why the CSA wanted to free itself from the Union...slavery had nothing to do with it...it's time to teach our children the TRUE history behind the cause instead of some politically fueled garbage to detract away from the fact that this is going to happen again.

  • WHICH BANKER IS NOW IN PRISON? THEY ROBBED AMERICA AND NOW EXPECT TO BE PAID?? WAKE UP!!

  • I am with the South in life or in death, in victory or defeat. I never owned a negro and care nothing for them, but these people have been my friends and have stood up to me on all occasions. In addition to this, I believe the North is about to wage a brutal and unholy war on a people who have done them no wrong,

  • in violation of the Constitution and the fundamental principles of the government...We propose no invasion of the North, no attack on them, and only ask to be let alone. - Patrick R. Cleburne

The words of that great IRISH Confederate will never be forgotten.

Learn the TRUTH about the War for Southern Independence - learn about how Northern BANKERS and industrialists opposed FREEDOM for the south because it would diminish their PROFITS.

    Has anything changed?

  • We the People bailed out the banks after they GAMBLED their money away. I ask you - which YANKEE BANKER is in prison over this CRIME? NONE OF THEM ARE! THINK!!! WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU????

God Bless Those who GAVE THEIR LIVES that the South might be FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DEO VINDICE - GOD WILL VINDICATE US!!

It's an OLD struggle - from the Scots and Irish who REFUSED to submit to English oppression to the HEROES who refused to submit to BANKERS!!!!! I HONOR THEM!

  • if the south will ever leave the states, they are gonna fail miserably because they all live off of welfare and they have no industry except for farming

  • @Univer3eTwist3ers And you and your family eat fingernails???????? Yankees are soooo stupid, you think the food you eat comes from the can trees up north, its grew here and packaged here so you can eat....

  • @chokeyoassout im sorry, but im jewish. i dont eat your white trash non kosher food. all my food is imported from western europe & the block. u mad?

  • @Univer3eTwist3ers You're jewish and you're calling white people trash! lol...lol

  • @johnplayersstandard hey, at least i didnt start a war over racism. u mad?

  • @Univer3eTwist3e No not mad just think you should know your stuff before you comment!

  • Jesuschristrulesyou: News Flash the south will never rise up again. It was one moment in time that had it's place. Society and the world is moving on and those of you that want to relive the 1800's wouldn't have been able to survie then. It was a rough world and their was no KMART or WALGREENS to go shopping and if you caught the 'Clap" you might as well cancel Xmas. 650,000 Americans died in the Civil War to make the country united so if you don't like it here find a time capsule an split

  • This was sent to closet clik SEE ALL sophiah88 @dixieunited the time is not for us to rise! * I think you meant to hit the w not the t I do it often myself, ;-) No uprising will work util we have a strong leader who knows history& war, and can UNITE the People bypassing our differences and focusing on our RACIAL SURVIVAL. An one such as AH will emerge when enough people cry from our collective SOUL for Leadership, not neo con bu ll shit. see the fav list on my channel for how to advance.
  • the time is not for us to rise!

  • i doubt it will ever happen, but with the way things are today it would be a sight to behold if the dixie of old once again left the union.if the southern states did seccede now the union could not stop them because with modern technolagy sutch a war would destroy america completely and absaloutely.

  • The South will rise again! Our nation is filled with sin and corruption, we need to revert back to America of the 1800's when it was pure, good, and Christian. America is a Christian nation and we will take it back from the gays and the muslims and the Mexicans.

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU So you want racism, going against muslim religion AND slavery. That goes against God's ways(i do know homosexuals are an abomination to God) God does not appreciate you pushing you opinions on people so just stop.

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU Guess whos a kkk member? i bet your father was againsts the civil rights movment eh?

  • Isn't owning slaves an example of oppressive authority?

  • The north did suffer alot more casualties than the south so in all acuality the south won the war in that aspect.

  • Deo Vindince!!!!!!!!

  • God Save the South! We lost the battle but did not loose the war. The Yanks think we have forgotten, they think we have forgiven...but oh no.....we just stayed quite and waited, conspiring. All we need now is the perfect chance to make them pay for their crimes. Deo Vindice.

  • @shtony2717 Delusional.....get help

  • Comment removed

  • The Buffalo Soldiers fought in the Indians Wars of the American West, Spanish American War of 1898, WWI and WWII.

  • Northern scum do not know what pride is. We put our pride in our galliant heroes. Yanks are just jealous because they have no civil war heroes. Hancock? Lincoln? Grant? Chamberlain? Seriously? HEROES? Really now! Don't make me laugh! Yanks fought for Lincoln, while our southern gentlemen fought for land, state rights, even sweethearts. God bless the South.

  • What was is unchangeable. What is and what will be are all we can change. Get over it. They are all dead. This was their war, not ours. We have our own problems now. This mindset is a terrible waste of time. If you haven't noticed the southern states all have members in congress, I guess they aren't part of the union though. Pure ignorance.

  • Mic the South was not all about slavery.

The LEADERS -- the Nazi like 20% or so who owned slaves, or their family did, were all about slave power, slave pussy, and slave profit.

But these fucks controlled South -- they controlled the laws, the power. They stopped freedom of press from 1820 on -- they made speaking out against slavery illegal, writing about slavery a crime, they even controlled what whites heard, read, and could preach about slavery

  • Do you also believe in slavery because that was what the South was all about.

  • @micahb1003 no it's actually much more simple. The south was about governing itself period. or do you believe people don't have a right to govern their own societies? Just like Brazil slavery would have ended no matter the victor but freedom is eternal.

  • Satan dumb fuck -- the South allowed no real elections idiot. The Nazi like slave owners took over the south after 1820 -- denying WHITES the right to vote in real elections, denying WHITES the right to free speech about slavery, denying WHITES the right to preach, read, write, speak what they wanted about slavery dumb fuck.

  • @micahb1003 Snap out of it - Go and look at Detroit - when it had jobs and now when it doesn't. THe north ran on slaves too. Wage slaves

  • The South hated States rights you fucking idiots. Contrary to what you have been told -- the South actually went to war to STOP states rights, when western states didnt want slavery.

The South started the Civil war to push slavery into the west AGAINST the wished of the people in the West. The South was against "Popular Sovereignty" Douglas -- his whole point was states decide.

The South hated him. Slavery was from GOD and states had no rights to decide.

  • @FilmCriticOne Uh huh read some Jefferson and Davis and the CSA constitution and get back to me on that. And don't bother with anymore bullshit I won't respond.

  • My Yankee ancestor was wounded severely at the 1st battle of the Seven Days Battle outside of Richmond, where it is believed my Rebel ancestor was tending to wounded from both sides. My grandson (the descendant of two honorable men who fought on opposite sides) is also the descendant of a slave family from NY (at one time NY had a very large concentration of slaves). I am proud of ALL of my grandson's heritage! Shame on those who would try to denigrate or ban any of our heritages! Deo Vindice.

  • wow, your sounding pretty rough with that hmldjr. You'll never get at how true southerners look at the war. And in your proposition of how you would've dealt with the South is pretty extreme, don't ya think?

  • Hey hmldjr your an ancestor from Italy ! Well thats something to be real proud of allies with the nazi's or a family tree that leads to mafia thugs lmao at you! What you know about the american civil war you could put in a thimble! Stick to making pasta or something 'MEATBALL" history aint your bag! Obviously by your oh so Intelligent remarks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • to be a nation again the fight aint over yet all for the dear old flag boys deo vindice!

  • one day the south shall rise up and cease the opression of the north, and when that day comes, i will be ther to fight along side those of the south! so think of southern freedom when you hear this song! LONG LIVE THE SOUTH!

  • The Confederacy is VERY much ALIVE! Many in the South 'and' North are demanding there States Rights! Keep the Colors A'Flyin

  • the song rocks!!

  • our grate confederatecy will rise again never forget our southern heros who went to war for southern freedom sleep well boys keep flying the flag boys deo vindice

  • And who said "it's over" ? I see it as North 1 - South 0,,,it's half time !

That Empty Suit in Chief in D.C. will do more for getting the 3rd quarter started more than anything else !

  • NamVetBuck, it's not over. Lee only surrendered the Army of Northern Virginia. Many other units in different states just sort of stopped shooting. Several states still have yet to "technically" rejoin the Union, FL being one. The war never ended. We've just been Yankee occupied since 1865. Hopefully this new "change" that Obama is bringing will renew the struggle for States Rights. 20 states so far have declared the 10th Amendment. The South lives on. Deo Vindice.

  • @tpajason The only thing that happened at Appomattox was a cease fire. After the Yankees had us where they wanted us they rushed right in destroyed what was left of our beaten and tattered states, ceased full control of the region and created the Federal Super State we have today. Reconstruction - Reconstructing the Union to an Empire.

  • Very nicely put! The fact that most of the armed forces nowadays comes from the South is in a way ironic.

  • I pray that there are still southern soldier boys who will once again answer the call to freedom. I am too old to hope to see it, but southern pride and ways of thinking are in the blood and will someday rise again.

  • Your never too old

  • Never shall you fear, for as long as the ideas of freedom are still alive so are the prinibles of the great Confederacy!!

I will take your place if youd let me sir

    Deo Vindice!!!!

  • I mean it's impossible to have slavery further west than texas anyway. And it was only outlawed as common practice not as punishment up north (also the case with the 13th ammendment), so in other words if you accused a black man of a crime and won (easy since the north was rascist) you could enslave him/her as punishment for the crime.

  • that of the norths attitude towards the south on the matter. The South was sick of being looked at as pieces of trash for an institution that used to be common practice in all the states and was slowly abolished up north due to it's industrialization. The north looked at the south as devils and the southerners didn't appreciate being treated that way (especially the 90% who owned no slaves) which was the real underpinning behind the slavestate/freestate disputes.

  • The North wanted the Confederacy to borrow money and

    pay usury and extortion/taxes.

Slavery was not even an issue

The Northern Banksters had wage slaves

since they imported WHITE SLAVES from the

DEBTORS PRISONS of Europe and the orphanages/streets

to get the kids so vulnerable to pedophilia when they were totally

owned by the Master who paid their passage.

  • I agree this si my stance exactly. The south was 100% right. It's just hard to pose arguments as you have because so many people have been taught to look at 2 documents and draw insanely large conclusions from them instead of opening your minds like we have.

  • @sophiah88 yes ive heard it been called the war for southern independence just like with the british

  • @Greatwhiteninja123 war for southern independence just like with the british

  • followed by the rest when the north infringed on their constitutional right only to collect unnecessary taxes from them and put 80% of southerners on the street penniless. If we scrutinize all the compromises in 1850 over slavery leading up to the war excluding John Brown the evil butcher) it becomes apparant that slavery was covering a much larger issue

  • Patriot it's quite sad really. The Southerners were the good guys in the war and the north twisted it all around thanks to abe who got what he deserved. That was divine intervention right there. And I'm sure Booth was rewarded in heaven. The south was trying to get rid of slavery and only 10% of the population of all the slave states even owned slaves and some owners were black. The Deep South and Texas were forced to secede first because of the morril tariff,

  • North 1 South 0 :)

  • The CSA held out against 4X their number and 10X their means for 208 weeks of undying glory.

Now, were they able to do that because there were giants in grey (& butternut) or because there were pussies in blue? Hmmmm?

Personally, I believe the federal soldiers were lions (led by donkeys).

Up that dammed red rebel rag!!

  • amen, rebrouser23. many of these yankee jackasses like the fool below come on here and make ignorant remarks. most of them are either queers or 18 yr. old punks who are brainwashed by propaganda and they think they are doing their duty to the union by calling patriotic Southrons "racists" or similar. I've seen it over & over. Deo Vindice

  • yep. we all realize what you are. I feel sorry for you.

  • I'm thinking Southern Independence. I'm imagining Southern Independence - I've got a mental picture of it! Guess what folks, its in our future. Don't doubt it. Its like the prophecy of the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel Ch. 37. The bones were dead & dry, then they started coming together, flesh began to cover them, then they finally came to life & became a great army. The South is a risin boys! Deo Vindice!!

  • Thank You, George. The Southern People took care of their slaves, which was only 5% of the world slave market in the 1800. Slaves were worked to death in the Caribbean, an economic decision, they thought it was cheaper to buy another slave than take care of them.

My Great Great Grandfather is buried beside his trusted servant Jim, on our farm in Mississippi.

  • Also, I can't believe the Yankees thought we'd be beaten in a few weeks. They also thought we'd go down easy. You know what Yankees? We did more damage to you than Nazi Germany did. And we haven't even been beaten. We've been alive for 148 years, and we still are. I only pray that we'll rise again.

  • Very good song. As my grandpa, grandma, and even mom said, the South will rise again. And when it does, I'll be marchin' right along with all the other Southerners. I'm a proud Loyalist Confederate.

  • Dhardway is describing Abraham Lincoln & the black Republicans. It is they, not the Southrons, who were the true rebels in the Civil War. They were rebels against the Union created by the US Constitution, which is a voluntary Union of free states. Their rebellion replaced the Union with a consolidated government. Southrons were loyal to their true State sovereigns. Northern soldiers' rapes of slaves were reported. Southrons never sold babies, but the North made lots of widows & orphans.

  • Our never injected radioactive particles into babies or infected black men with STDs just to see what it would do to them. Your's has done that and worse.

God punished us for the crime of slavery by making us associate ourselves with the likes of you and your schemes of world conquest. But we ain't the first people to be subjugated by the forces of imperialism and industrialism, nor will we be the first to stop fighting it. People around the world are taking up arms against the bland cultu...

  • ...ral monolith being expoused by the Washington regime, and so must those of us on both sides of the Rio Grande and the Mason-Dixon if we are to save our future generations and our local ways of life from the degenerative effect of this bellicose and hedonistic establishment. With this in mind nuclear hellfire would be preferable to the dehumanizing prison planet that's being prepared for us.

  • Watuga, God loved the Bible's greatest slaveholder, Abraham, and even ordered his wife Sara's slave, Hagar, to return to Sara to take a whipping. If slavery is sin then the God of the Bible is a sinner.

If in your first paragraph you refer to the "Tuskegee experiment," you've wildly distorted the facts. It was an observation of syphilis at a time no effective treatments of it existed. It was intended to help the syphilis suffering Negro people of America, & was partly black overssen.

  • Both dhardway and Watuga need some education. Southern slavery was a blessing to the Negro. In Africa, as slaves, they would have withered and died. They multiplied in America, guided by their American masters, the world's most progressive, humane, and Christian people.

  • I'm going to have to call b.s. on that. It's simply another attempt to rationalize a monstrous evil that both North and South share blame for. Having your family sold as though they were animals is hardly progressive, humane or Christian.

  • So, Rex, better to let Africans die in Africa than let them serve as slaves in America? Those, practically, were the options for those poor souls. There is still slavery on a massive scale in Africa & Southern Asia to this day, a fact that troubles modern libs very little, because their "liberalism" amounts to little more (in most cases) than arrogantly assuming moral superiority over people who were better than they & who are long dead. You hate slavery? Fight it where it is, not where 'twas

  • As for treating slaves "like animals," that is nonsense. Do you teach the Gospel to animals? Do you teach animals skilled labors and (in some cases) managerial skills? Do the laws of any State characterize the wanton killing of animals as murder, as Southern laws did the wanton killing of slaves? You libel my people with your gross and baseless characterization of the institution of Southern slavery. It's because of arrogant, ignorant people such as yourself that secession was necessary.

  • The truth hurts George.

  • @GeorgeFitzhugh The facts speak for themselves. Many slave owners were decent and humane but that obscures the fact that the institution itself was wrong. The political elite in the south was unwilling to compromise and forced a war, largely over slavery, to protect their "states rights". Not all southerners were happy with slavery or secession and many fought for the Union. Arrogance and ignorance is , I suppose like beauty---in the eye of the beholder.

  • God bless the South!

  • Viva la Confederazione...dall'Italia

  • SHUT UP YOU YANKEE PIECE OF SHIT!

  • lol

  • Great video! The South fought becuase we could not stand being controlled by a tyrant any longer. We would have abolished slavery in our own way, in a way without just throwing a race of people out and saying "sink or swim". The true spirit of America can sadly no longer be seen in the u.s government. But it still remains in the hearts and minds of the people who are not afraid to speak out against the tyrannical politicians of today. In the hearts and minds of the people of the South.-DEO VINDICE

  • Great Song!!!

  • they fight hard in the war and they almost won the war they fight the west for slavery it was a bad time in history.

  • It's a good vid but the part where it said that it left a million dead. Just to let you know that there was over 600.000 that died not no million

  • Bootlegegrsouth is probably including civilian deaths, which if added to the military deaths could easily have hit a million. Also, while the North's military records survived and were comprehensive and accurate, the South's records were not as complete and many did not survive the war. Southern military dead could easily have been higher than the current estimate of 260,000 (v. 360,000 yank dead). Many Southrons were invalided out due to disease, & may not have been numbered among war dead.

  • confederacy was the right party!

from a greatson of two Ritterkreuzträger of the german Wehrmacht and Leutnant d. R.

  • I had a Daddy that I adored. He was strong minded. Strong willed, stood up for what he believed was true not because he said it was but because he knew it was. He dealt with facts & figures. He thought with logic, intuition. If needed his heart would lead him to think certian things in dealing with his children. This country is divided with blue & red states for a reason. The South thinks differently. We are proud people who have been taught to not back down even when our thinking is not popular.

  • I am so sad when I look at the faces of these brave men. I know from the stories passed down in my own family that no matter what anyone believes about the Civil War & the main reason it was fought. Not about slavery. I know my family & they don't lie or cover up for one another for the ills we may do. When I have been going through the worst times in my life my Mother says " Hold your head up girl. Remember where you came from." I did not come from people that would fight to oppress anyone.

  • The Confederate view of States' rights was correct. There was no transfer of sovereignty when the US Constitution was ratified, there was merely a delegation or loan of authority, from the sovereign, the White people of each separate State, to the federal govt. But to say the South seceded to defend States' rights is like saying that a person seeks a divorce because he believes he has a right to a divorce. The South seceded for the same reason people divorce: honor demanded it.

  • The South fought for its honor. Slavery was the issue. It was impossible to remain in a Union with Yankeeland, where church bells mourned the death of John Brown, whose hellish plot was to ignite a race war in the South. The spirit of the old Union was dead. For the sake of the Spirit of '76, the upper South, with fewer Africans, forbore to secede longer than the Deep South. But when Abe called for an army to invade the South, they affirmed their right as sovereign States & seceded.

  • Southerners were proud of what they had accomplished with their Negro charges, and indignant that Yankees denounced them as unchristian and cruel. The life expectancies of Southern slaves, and of western Europeans was 36 years in 1850 -- only slightly less than that of White Americans. In Manchester, England, the life expectancy was 24 years in 1850. Slaves multiplied, mostly by natural increase, by a factor of 5 from 1780-1860. This is not a cruelly brutalized people's demography.

  • Deo Vindice.

  • DEO VENDICE

  • Were fighting for states rights, like the right to take away a black man's rights and make him a slave.

  • Most people who say the CW was about slavery are rather shallow. It was about states rights.

    Read what Lincoln said.

I quote my Great Grandfather who was in the 27th Illinois Vol Inf."If I had known I was fighten to free the n.....s I would have never have went."

    Slavery was wrong.

Giving people something for nothing is just another form of slavery.

  • Mark, where are these so called laws making it illegal to speak or write against slavery? Considering I've never heard of them. But I have heard of how the CSA outlawed the slave trade in the first days of the government. Also, in the 1860 census New Jersey had about 300 registered slaves. Now I thought the north was trying to free the slaves. I guess not. You should think twice before talking about something you don't know about.

  • Freeing the slaves never became a war aim until after Antietam. Even when freeing the slaves did become a war aim it was (IIRC) to only free slaves in CSA territory that was not yet captured. That is why slavery still existed in Union and already conquered Southern areas until after the war. Once ending slavery became war aim it ensured no international support for the CSA. Also if you look at the many causes of the war slavery and the extension of slavery was a recurrent issue.

  • It has been a year since I studied the Civil War so I could be a little rusty. And that i was more interested in the Military part of it.

  • For MarkDouglasC, you are a freaking idiot! You obviosly need to go back to school and learn your history . My ancestors, all 30 of them, were Confederate soldiers. None of my ancestors owned any slaves. They fought because their homeland was being invaded. Did you know that in every battle, except one, the south was out numbered 2 and 3 to 1 and still whipped yankee ass? Not all people owned slaves in the South. My ancestors in Europe were WHITE SLAVES and you don't see ME bitching and moaning.

  • I see you bitching and moaning right now idiot/

  • I say you're a liar.

  • Here is a clue moron, read the declarations of independence by southern slave raping states -- THEY said it was about slavery you idiot. And yes, it was against the law to SPEAK against slavery in the south. You could go to hell cess pool jail or be hung to have ANY written material against slavery. SO the south always fought AGAINST freedom. Those pecker heads hated freedom of thought or expression, and loved raping slaves and selling their own children into slavery.

  • He's partially right. Distributors of abolitionist newspapers such as the The Liberator were subject to a $1,500 fine in South Carolina, reputedly because the paper called for an overthrow of the state government, and that is illegal. In an admittedly weak defense of their actions, this was in the immediate aftermath of Nat Turner's Rising, and I've never heard of anyone actually being prosecuted for selling the papers.

  • Also, one of my old school books said the state of Georgia banned possession of the magazine under penalty of death. I've never found any proof of this and tend to dismiss it as an urban legend.

  • relly great!can you send the song to me that was in the video?

  • In 1860 Southern Italy, known as The Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, was invaded without a declaration of war by the northern State of Piedmont with the excuse of a Unified Italy.Obviously this was a bloody lie and a cruel civil war between piedmontese soldiers and southern partisans lasted for about 10 yrs.Thousands of southeners were forced to leave their land to find a better place to live around the world. After 148 years Italy is not unified yet. South will rise again!

    Viva le Due Sicilie!

  • That is absolutely fascinating. I didn't realize that such a cultural rift exists in Italy.

  • VIVA SICILIE!

  • Amazing portraits of the poor and ordinary who fought an extraordinary war against a machine. The movie 'Gettysburg' has some of the best definitions of what that meant.

  • A great footage!

  • could you recommend any interesting docomentary available on the civil war, please.

  • exellent video bootle, the american civil war was a very interesting time in world history. some ppl still believe to this day the civil war was about slavery.

  • Thank you. Yes, indeed, the war was to resist federal oppression.

  • this is awesome, time to rise up again!

  • thank you

  • I could not hit the favorite button fast enough.GREAT.

  • Long live the South!

  • Im a confederate reenactor this song kickass.

what is the name of the acuall song and who sings it?

  • Thanks. The song is "Southern Soldier Boy" by Kathy Mattea.

I hope you're having your reenactments filmed. There's some good footage on the net, but there's not enough of it.

  • The faces of those men are haunting. Do you ever stop and just stare at one, wondering what his eyes have seen? And we are still here, folks, over 100 years later. I do not think you Yankees actually won.

  • Outstanding song, if that doesn't build Southern Pride, well then your not southern.

    Great work !

Thanks, but that song is haunting....

  • They died not in vain. Many of us who share the Jeffersonian ideals they fought for remember them and know the truth. And when liberty returns, it will honor them among the same ranks as the minutemen who fought before them.

  • That is poetically well put.

  • Fantiastic work! Thank you!

  • Thank you

  • I love this video, i love the music, i treasure its meaning.... your creativity, and whole heartedness are a mark of excellence....please sometime tell me about the music will you...it touches my soul...

  • This might be your best work. I had over 20 ancestors in 1 CSA company. Many didn't come home. 4 died at Perryville. I was taught to hate their legacy in school (the sins of slavery pounded home). I researched and discovered that not 1 of them ever owned a slave. Confused, I then searched for books by unbiased authors and was angered by what I found. No one will ever again tell me that my blood is tainted with dishonor without a fight. I now bless their brave souls!

  • God Bless your ancestors. All honorable people will fight to defend their homeland.

  • Wonderful video--I loved how you paired the pictures of soldiers with that haunting music. Who was it--the high notes sounded a little like Joan Baez. Instruments were great too; sounded a little medieval--was that a dulcimer in there? Anyway, you got some great work here. Deo Vindice

  • Thanks....actually, it is Kathy Mattea. It sounds like dulcimer , flute and possibly guitar to me. These instruments paired with her clear voice tone and the minor progression perhaps give it that medieval feel. Deo Vindice

  • Very nice vid. --5 Stars--
