@AmuseMe543 definately uses an octave pedal and most probably the russian equivelent of the big muff, as well as other distortion, maybe a boss overdrive. He most probably even uses one of his synth pedals as well by the sounds of it. In the album version in the bridge of the song, either a EQ scale is messed around with or a kaossilator pad is used to fade it and make it sound like its in another room

Any1 has a right 2 like Muse, but 4 ppl like me who loved this band since the 1st single, to see the fanbase go from mature real-music fans to little girls n chart watchers who only 'like' this band coz they're suddenly cool to like, its a bit dis-heartening. @marioman2006 It doesn't have nearly as much energy as most of their live songs. They just stand/sit there, in front of their instruments and play them normally. There's none of the wacky guitar flailing and swinging. No fantastically improvised solos. Although, they do have a very small slot on a chat show. So there's not much room for creativity.

although i do like the instrumental bridge in the middle, and i love the way they remove the boring outro and put the middle/bridge riff in again at the end in this live preformance.
