  • saw them at MIT when my 'uncle' used to play keys for them. Highlight was when Mr Curt 'snuck' me into the arcade when you had to be 18 to go in. I think I was 12!

  • i found my wicked good time compilations w/two boys life tracks: "keep the edge" and "in my eyes". john surette in a new band called John surette and the DiNeros. i saw that they're playing at Jaques underground at the end of May - I think it's in the theatre district...

    Talk Show, Psycho Blonde,Sundays, Lock It Up This reminds Me of the Future. I used to have the 45 of Lock It Up...only thing left is a cassette of a live BCN show with a killer version of the Beatles' "Paperback Writer"

  • Anyone have "Talk Show?" Now that would be great to see.

  • They didn't have a full-length LP, but they did have a cassette compilation called "Pastiche Tense," which scooped up most of their released output. It is much rarer than the 3 singles, unfortunately.

  • wow. Pastiche were such a welcomed relief during a time when all Boston bands pretty much sounded the same- the BOSTON sound, they were bright new wavey within a sea of garagey organic ROCK bands. I remember Parenteaus mustache all too well...
