  • 50K+++ views! Thank you :)

  • indigo..? Plz tell me its urdu name and where it is available in pakistan

  • can you relax hair a few days after this?

  • @pinkqueenscookie If you use a chemical relaxer to straighten out your hair, it will probably strip some of the dye color but not sure if it will completely wash out. If relaxers work with chemical hair dyes, should be ok to use with this. Hair creams/ hair products are fine to use too.

  • what was the time span between the two applications?

  • @lazuli2199 approx. 5 hours

  • @Hennahead2010 impressive . . .

  • @lazuli2199 Thank you :)

  • wow, is that for real?

  • @lazhen yes

  • Happy holidays, warm wishes, HennaHead =D

  • I've heard that natural henna will dry the hair out? Afraid to try it because of that. I use a semi permanent now but it burns the scalp and leaves the BR a mess with the dripping black dye on the sink and floor. I'll have to try this though.

  • Hi, I like the redish orange color, I want to cover my gray but not with the black paste. I have pure henna the type used for body art. Can you please tell me what you mixed yours with. and did you deep condition afterwards? Thanks for sharing...

  • Just want to say, Thank You very much for your interest, likes, 27,000+ views, comments, subscribers and friends =) It's been a year since this video was uploaded...stick around! Thanks for your patience as well, Happy HennaHead-ing ;) HennaHead Team

  • Henna is good, but it's not 'permanent'. The colour fades away after some time.

  • @Kamadev888 HennaHead hair dye is permanent. It's as permanent as chemical hair dyes.

  • Kama, was this 100% pure henna? The dye found in the plant (lawsone) works its way into the hair follicles and is permanent. The colour darkens over the next week, but doesn't fade.

(I dye my wife's hair at home and have some experience with it.)

  • @rithban 100% pure henna from Egypt. They've used this stuff for millennia.

You say you dye your wife's hair, not you've died your wife's hair, which implies you do this on a somewhat regular basis. How is that, if the dye is permanent? (By permanent, I mean you dye your hair and it stays coloured for the rest of your life.)

Even henna fades slightly after a number of washes, etc.

  • @Kamadev888 Hey no hostility intended. I was just curious.

"which implies you do this on a somewhat regular basis. How is that, if the dye is permanent?"

You're assuming we do this because of colour fading. Hair grows, and the new hair isn't henna coloured. She is greying.

Henna darkens, but we haven't had trouble with fading like typical chemical colouring. Maybe that's what you're calling fading, and we're just using different words. Or maybe different preparation.

  • @rithban No problem, man, no hostility was inferred from you, or directed at you. But text posts make it difficult to tell if somebody is being hostile or just normal.

I understand what you're saying - hair grows, and you have to re-dye. Henna lasts a LONG time, but even if her hair didn't grow, and you didn't dye for, say, two years, the effects of blow-drying, washing, etc, etc. would eventually turn the hair strand to a paler shade (although the essential tone would stay the same).

  • @Kamadev888 That goes counter to my experience, but whatever. I appreciate you taking the time to chime in. :)

  • @rithban I'm sure it does, but then again, you've never gone without re-dyeing for a year or two, right?

  • What is Indican paste

  • @amrutapatra Indican paste is made from a natural plant.

  • @Hennahead2010 Can you tell me what is this indican paste is and how i can make this paste. Googling it doesnt seem to give any results.

  • @amrutapatra I would assume it's indigo. Henna followed by indigo goes black.

  • I HAVE GREY ROOTS COMING IN AND MY HAIR COLOR NOW IS A PRETTY REDDISH BROWN. HOW CAN ALL OF MY HEAD BE DONE TO LOOK LIKE MY NOW DYE JOB AND COVER THE INCOMING GREY?ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT.

  • Thank you for your interest and likes!

  • 8,118. Good # Thank You!

  • Is this the same henna that people have allergic reactions to when they get the temporary tattoos? Cause I think I remember hearing that black is henna to stay away from? Also, can you do this in different colors? And will it only take on the greys? Sorry, I know I have a lot of questions.

  • @behcetsblows1 Hi! Heard about it. 'Black Henna' refers to Henna with added harmful chemicals (PPD). Our superb quality Henna has no harmful chemicals/PPD. Henna plant dye is orange by itself, the Indican plant dye results in black. Can get diff. colors. Can't provide 1 instruction to guarantee the same color for all hair, cherry red on 1 person's hair may be purpley black on another. Experiment! but you'll be responsible for the outcome. Black dye does grey, blonde, brunette, red.Do a strand test!

  • 7,110. Thanks! x 10

  • 6,330, thank you. Really appreciate the feedback too :D

  • 5,043. Thanks for looking :)

  • How long do you leave the henna/plant dye on hair while dying?

  • @cassyp78 The henna plant dye is left on the hair for at least 3 hrs to get a good stain. Depending on how well your hair takes to the dye varies from person to person so you may only need to leave the henna plant dye in your hair for 2 hours or go longer for 4 hours. You'll have to trial what works best for your hair. We recommend 3 hrs. Thanks for commenting.

  • 2,010 views. Thanks! We will have more video's uploaded for you!

  • can you please tell me how long your roots stayed colored before having to do them again and if you have to cover the roots in plastic wrap as well when doing just roots?

  • @familiaherrera1 The roots that you dye will remain permanently coloured by this dye. Generally you would dye new regrowth every 3-4 weeks as at that time you will have about 1-2 cm of grey hair showing. For the second part to your question - yes you need to use plastic wrap to cover your roots even just touching up roots because it keeps the paste moist and the beanie keeps the paste warm which is how the dye works in our process.

  • can you please tell me about how often you have to redo roots and if you have to cover them with plastic wrap as well whne you do just the roots

  • 1,000 views. Thank you so much for watching!!

  • Can you please tell me how long the henna color last on the hair

  • @AustraliaFour Hello! The final black colour is permanent. As your hair grows out you will just have to reapply to cover regrowth. Thanks for your comment.

  • Can you tell me how long the color last in your hair

  • That is amazing!!

  • @fnc0516 Yes! Follow us on Facebook, just type HennaHead in the Fb search bar. haha I watched a couple of your vids, very entertaining and informative :)
