After personally witnessing the Liverpool Echo Arena gig fiasco of which I initially supported Morrissey's actions, I am somewhat dissappointed that he demanded the "F@#K You" heckler exit the venue without first giving due consideration to the reason he gave in his defence? For goodness sake if one makes fun of the location they are perfoming at, one should anticipate a certain degree of rebellion? Afterall Morrissey is a rebel amongst rebels isn't he? You say that Morrissey didn't make fun of anything but he did hence the laughter after bestowing his wit upon the Hamburg fans however, as you rightly pointed out, the heckling fan who didn't get the joke was singled out and paid the price for his actions. My point is this, Morrissey cannot and should not bait the fans if he does not accept the bite. I just feel that this fan was treated unfairly especially after he told Moz his reason and admiited his prankish remark said in confusion.

Well, things went something like this: With the show taking place in Hamburg, Morrissey at one point just said that he would find it weird to be called "Hamburgers" as an inhabitant of the city. Nobody would want to be called "Hot Dogs", either. He therefore would propse a change of name to something like, say, "Hamburgists". They guy in the audience responded, dropping the F-bomb and that's what got things started.

Then when he was singled out after the song and Morrissey spoke to him he replied "But I love you!" and Morrissey told him to "love him outside then". Which is they way I would have expected him to respond in the first place. Just classy. The "fuck" on Morrissey's side came very unexpected. Still, I entirely defend what Morrissey did. He punished that one bloke and not the entire audience.

Also, I cannot understand how someone from Hamburg could possibly take offence in Morrissey's remark. He did not tell them they were idiots or something, he just said that their city had a funny name which of course bears resemblance to "Hamburger." Wordplay, nothing else.

Morrissey is so amazing, even when he swears he sounds polite. He does look very angry though. I'm glad he confronted the man. If he'd done that an Liverpool things would have been much better. This tour seems to be going from one bad incident to another. I think Morrissey needs a rest, here in England with his mum.

Something SERIOUSLY wrong with Moz in my honest opinion. This whole tour has gone from one disaster to another.

When I saw him at Brixton a few months ago it was so half arsed, he just doesnt seem right.

To me he seems bloated, out of breath and un-interested. When he collapsed in Swindon he should have sacked the rest of the tour.

He needs to call time on these never ending dates and rest up.
