There was only like one model that was fully 100% backwards compatible with PS2 and I think original PSX games. I didn't care for the SD cards either, it was just a waste.

Xbox has more games, yes, but they're all shit. Halo 3 was the only good Halo, and that's dead now. GoW is just bad. Ps3 has all FF's before 11, God of war (which is awesome), Little big planet (Which is just incredible) and many more on the psn. I have both consoles and xbox is way worse, and costs so much more. Move is compatable with many games, kinect is kinect games ONLY. MOVE>KINECT for that reason alone. Fuck you

@LordCuddlez I worked with someone that has an XBOX 360 and PS3, and says that the PS3's online service doesn't hold a candle to XBOX live. And did you forget that XBOX does have free internet as well? They have Silver(Free) and Gold($50 a year). I'm a casual gamer, so all the SD and Pro Duo cards really don't apply to me and the standard PS3 HDD is enough for my needs(I haven't even filled up my 20 gig XBOX HDD yet.....after 4 years). The new Xbox also has built in WiFi.

The only reason PSN got hack is because Sony were dumb asses , and didn't up date their Linux sever, and then pissed off the Linux community so the Linux hackers hacked them. They hack them because sony was sending out updates that remove features on the PS3 , and it pissed use Linux users off.

yeah look at MGS4 on psn network its terrible it takes like 20 minutes to get set up with a person you know it is so much easier to get in games with friends on xbox live
killzone 2 was mediocre and MGS4 was really good, but yeah gears of war 2 is trash but halo 3 is good really the ps3 lacks good exclusives and doesn't really have amazing exclusives except for LBP, but the 360 really just wins in multi-platform gaming such as COD4 among others and the live service is just so much better then psn defiantly worth the 50 dollars a year
so really after 2 years you have paid more for the 360 than you ever will or the ps3 (not including breakdowns). Halo 3 was massively overated and still is. But as for online PS3 can handle more people online at the same time. (Even if PSN is pissing everyone off.) You do get used to it. Just look Up M.A.G 256 online player game. Exclusive to ps3.

msg4 is on konami server. you add friend on there. kinda like a another server. you add friends on the game.. then you can just add them for psn later. i never played killzone because the first one was shocking.

You have the older model with the emotion engine chip, which allows the ps3 to play ps2 games. Sony is trying to make their console less expensive by removing the this chip and many other components on their newer models.

@LordCuddlez I worked with someone that has an XBOX 360 and PS3, and says that the PS3's online service doesn't hold a candle to XBOX live. And did you forget that XBOX does have free internet as well? They have Silver(Free) and Gold($50 a year). I'm a casual gamer, so all the SD and Pro Duo cards really don't apply to me and the standard PS3 HDD is enough for my needs(I haven't even filled up my 20 gig XBOX HDD yet.....after 4 years). The new Xbox also has built in WiFi.

The only reason PSN got hack is because Sony were dumb asses , and didn't up date their Linux sever, and then pissed off the Linux community so the Linux hackers hacked them. They hack them because sony was sending out updates that remove features on the PS3 , and it pissed use Linux users off.

killzone 2 was mediocre and MGS4 was really good, but yeah gears of war 2 is trash but halo 3 is good really the ps3 lacks good exclusives and doesn't really have amazing exclusives except for LBP, but the 360 really just wins in multi-platform gaming such as COD4 among others and the live service is just so much better then psn defiantly worth the 50 dollars a year

so really after 2 years you have paid more for the 360 than you ever will or the ps3 (not including breakdowns). Halo 3 was massively overated and still is. But as for online PS3 can handle more people online at the same time. (Even if PSN is pissing everyone off.) You do get used to it. Just look Up M.A.G 256 online player game. Exclusive to ps3.

yes and its because of the friend system that makes the game dumb like look at killzone 2 its a pain in the ass to get in the same game with your friend and MGS4 as of my knowledge there is no private chat system in the ps3 making it hard to join the same games as a friend with a game that is not matchmaking

You have the older model with the emotion engine chip, which allows the ps3 to play ps2 games. Sony is trying to make their console less expensive by removing the this chip and many other components on their newer models.
