I love how they wrote an amazing song like this while they were trippin on acid and lots of bands nowadays cant make anything even close to as good as this song when there completely sober
OMG this brought that whole time period flooding back in on me! I would listen to this album over and over and over, trying to get more detail out of Cippolina's guitar playing each time. Amazing to hear music from a time when musicians actually wrote music and played instruments.
One of QMS' BEST LPs. Few people know about it, surprised to see it here.
Don't remember whether this was recorded at the Fillmore or Winterland, but certainly top 10 of the shows I wish I saw. Always reminded me of how tough the first SOBs who made it to California must have been.
cippolina at 5:12 always makes me chuckle ... along with davids singing, wonderful!... guitar slingers ... really great instrumental, esp the first 6 mins ... its all good tho!
