I remember watching an episode of NYPD where they made a remark on Puertoricans well they had to come back and appologize to them afterwards. Germans don't freak out over every Nazi joke that is told. Are they true? Not necessarily. Is it comical? Yes. Step off your high horse and get rid of your holier than thou mentality. Use your time more productively and donate to a charity that supports indigenous Peruvians or do some volunteer work. It may do you some good.

First of all, real Peruvians shouldn't be mad at Sofia as she is just reading lines that her CHARACTER Gloria would say. Second, the whole point of the joke (aka why it's funny) is that she's so insulted her husband negatively stereotypes Columbians, but then she turns around and stereotypes Peruvians. It's wrong in both cases! that's the joke!

I just realize reading the comments that peruvians don't have sense of humor, and no understanding of irony, it seems that they don't decode the "ironic understanding" gene, I'm Chilean and I know what I'm saying, we've never treat them bad but they're always mocking us and I really don't know why! if you don't believe me just go to any Chilean video and you'll see offensive comments from peruvians without any justification.

Yes It is not her fault, it is the writers......I love this show, I love comedy but there is no need to play a remark like this one. I remember watching an episode of NYPD where they made a remark on Puertoricans well they had to come back and appologize to them afterwards. Like I said there is plenty of things that comedy can be made of, just don't make it out of my country of hearts!!!!!!

I think this whole situation was blown way out of proportion. I have never been more embarrassed of being Peruvian. Does the Peruvian community not have a sense of humor!? It was a joke, get over it. If you don't have a sense of humor then you shouldn't be watching a COMEDY show.
I thought it was funny, I laughed and got over it. Everyone else needs to learn not to take things so far up the ass!
