i think that the core i3,core2 duo and intel pentium dual core r almost the same intel differ them to get the money from our hand.....itz just a marketing trick|!!!!!!!!
@xtremegamerzz96 The difference between the Core 2's and the Pentium dual core is mainly the amount of Cache that is active. The core 2's usually have 1/3rd more active cache than the Pentium's. The Core 2's and the Core i series is completely different from each other. The Core i3's have an advantage over the Core 2's though.
It has also been proven that a Core i3 at 4.2Ghz beats a Core i7 at 4Ghz in games (Shows that games are still not optimized for Multicore processors (Above Dual core)
@sunman111 - that is way too hogh for the proccessor to be running at, if i were you id remove the cooler, remove the thermal paste, use high grade thermal paste and dont use too much of it, just about the size of a pea will do, then reseat the heatsink.. making sure that its on and tightened up properly.... just a question, what thermal paste have you used and what heatsink are you using?
@sunman111 - well for a start you didnt say it was the heatsink, so i assumed you were on about the processor. and theres absolutly nothing wrong with intels push pin design.. iv never had any problems with it what so ever.
i was stressed of braking the mobo thats why i didnt push it hard enough to make proper contact with thermal paste/cpu/heatsink.. but now its all good!
The e5300 is a higher clocked processor so it will be better then this at stock, but the e5200's are already being discontinued, so i would go for the e5300 or above
Just a question you may have already said but what is the exact cooler you are using in this video to overclock to 4.0GHz
i am building a new budget rig soon and would like to overclock this cpu as safely as possible so a better fan is the only option really beacuse i am way to lazy for water cooling lol.
the cooler i was using atm is a thermaltake big typhoon, but currently thinking of getting a new cooler like the scythe or something around there specs, good luck with the bugdet rig!
Hello nice video! i have a question?! Now i whant to buy this cpu Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 45nm and i whant to know how is work in games is block and other please tell me.Have a nice day !
hello, thanks, this cpu is great for running apps and playing high rated games. it runs really well at stock settings of 2.5Ghz but iv had mine running at 4Ghz and had a massive increase in performance. hope this helps :)
no, your fan won't die anytime soon, they have somewhat a life expectancy of around 50,000 Hours continuouse operation, it should be fine :) you could always get a aftermarket cooler for better cooling :)
thats good, you don't really want your fan speed to be too high as it creates allot of noise, mine is only at 1332 Rpm, also it depends what cooler and fan you have.
got more fans now :P and yeah, higher performance than most core 2 duo's, not far from the e8*** series either. got it running upto 4Ghz now so more performance to come!
thanks, yeah took ALOT of time to get all the lighting right and managed lol, tbh its not even a full tower case its only a mid lol, i just took the hard drive and floppy drive mounting cages out, loads more room lol.

Buy a Q8300 is a cheap cpu :)
TheDulki 1 year ago
@TheDulki - The q8300 is terrible and is the same age as the e5200. besides have you seen the date of the video, i do not own this anymore.

I think you spent more on the case/flashy stuff than your actual parts LOL.

yo one of the legs was just not properly pushed in properly, so i just pushed it in and then my temps are now 36 idle 52 max load
sunman111 2 years ago
@sunman111 - e5200's dont have legs/pins, no socket 775 processor does.
buzzin92 2 years ago
theres 4 legs on the fan! how to u seat the heatsink then? pushpin intel crap..

Which one is best for gaming ?? Intel Pentium dual core E5200 or inter core 2 quad Q8200 or AMD Phenom X3
aweSomeNessTutorials 2 years ago
personally i would use the Core 2 Quad for gaming as games are getting more optimized for quad cores.
