@TheGeoshark That's how its always been in Dead Space. The space zombies have to be dismembered to kill them. (Basically its to showcase the awesome gore and graphics engine.)

I played through on Survivalist my first time and I have to say, using the enemy limbs are not a requirement. I was loaded down with all ammunition and ended up selling a whole lot. But you play it how you want to.

you do know you can use the limbs as projectile weapons with the telekinesis? it was ment to save bullets so there really isn't much to find later on

gameplay tip: if you find yourself running low on ammo (somehow) you can use the Mr. choppy's choppers with the kinines as a weapon.

@gameruler95 It's wise to use that method as soon as possible and whether you're low on ammo or not. Another good tip is to decapitate a Baby and launch the body at other enemies.

Looking good! I'm stunned you didn't die during the first bit. I mean, you just stood there for a few seconds and didn't get jumped! I played it on medium first time around and I got sliced to pieces because I didn't know where to go.

Looking forward to seeing what you think of this one. Personally, it just didn't seem as...tense as the first one. I think it's Issac's talking...

Nothing quite unsettles me as much as dead space and Helloween4545's playing style of wondering around and looking at stuff eventhough monsters are around.

If you go to options you can change the Aiming style from Center to Classic. Also If you press up/down on the weapon switcher while using your path locator it will change locations to saves/stores/benches/ect and change colors for a rave!

I enjoyed the lets play, and as for the folks who are starting up a discussion on the quality of the game I will remind them that whether or not you enjoy something is up to the individual. We aren't injecting ourselves with feel-good drugs when playing a game, and thus it becomes a discussion of a subjective matter in which both sides attempt to employ rational arguments in favour of their own viewpoint.

I've heard great things about the force gun. Anyway, three tips that I've seen as being pretty important to keep in mind:

- Stomp all necro bodies, the others don't give anything other than a good laugh

- To conserve ammo (and get points for badassery) cut off Mr. Choppy's arms and use kinesis to turn them into deadly projectiles

- Stasis recharges in this game, though slowly, so stasis packs are even less useful while stasis itself is even more useful, and sometimes even vital, to combat.

Awwwwsome. Was fun to watch, here a few reminders.

Search everywhere and everything, watch you back at all times and never ever use all your power nodes for upgrading. Always keep at least one for any node doors you come across.

Also there a Dead Space 2 expansion. Dead Space 2: Severed. Has nothing to do with Issac as it stars a different character in his own story. But it's really good, you should check it out after this.

Not sure if you read these or not Helloween, but try to always keep one power node on you for the special rooms filled with one of a kind items!

Helloween, make sure you fully upgrade the Seeker gun. It's more or less a sniper rifle, and it's a one or two hot kill.

Mkay, protip: Grab the blades from dead choppies with kinesis and throw them at living ones. Works just like any other spear-shaped thing, and saves you ammo.

Also, get the Javelin gun. It's your new and improved Predator Genital Destroyer, this time with more zappings.

@subjectdelta0 There's actually several things, both in this and the first game, that indicates that this is indeed the case. The most obvious case is the necromorphs in the first game that absorbed RIGS with stasis modules. Would have been ordinary slashers if they hadn't bonded with the marines equipment.

This game seems more complex than Amnesia; its replaced "paint the man, cut the lines"

with: "target the mans, cut the limbs, stomp the bodies, grab the loot"
