  • I recently spent two weeks in Montevideo and I can honestly say that my stay in this wonderful city was one of my best travel experiences ever. Montevideo is a magnificent city: safe, clean, filled with architectural gems and first-rate restaurants. Best of all are the people. They're friendly, courteous, and they really seem to enjoy life. If you're thinking about a trip to South America, do yourself a favor and put Uruguay and its capital on your list. Viva Montevideo! Viva Uruguay!
