In fact she's keeping her head high in order to avoid forcing the high note and saturating the mic, it's a technique actually...and if you haven't noticed, the key of the original song is 1 semitone higher and live is too much work for her voice because she had to sing and maintain high notes which would end in restraining her so she decided to play it half tone lower.
