@birdman404 what did you use as their nesting material? they look like rocks (to me)... My mom's gonna buy me a pair later this month and it'll be my first pet birds. Though i've experienced taking care of rats, hamsters, dogs, fishes, turtles and insects, I dont have any experience at all when it comes to birds. lol

@iceykrim14 perfect first birds zebra finchs are they will aceept dried grass for nest material but you shozuld look up zebra finches on the net and it will tell u everything in great detail

Nice video... I just bought 4 finches 2males/2females. The one pair laid a egg about 3 weeks ago. I read it should only take 14 days to hatch. Should I remove the egg and clean the nest out to start over again.???Or should I just wait another month to make sure it wont hatch???
