this is sad & beautiful all at the same time.... it tugs at my heart strings.... one awesome love by the two of them... especially by clark gable... thanx
There was Jean Harlow before her..........Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Anna Nicole Smith, Brittany Murphy, etc. after......Carole Lombard was a timeless beauty & talent. Hollywood has a bit of a tragic history of beautiful, talented, charismatic, blond actresses who managed to make quite an impression on the world with their God-given talent, spiritual & physical attributes......and were taken from this Earth FAR before they received all the appreciation & respect they so richly earned.
Carole is a beautiful hero. She and her mother died in a plane crash outside of Las Vegas on their way home from a WWII bond selling drive. She died way to young to soon.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Jen, you are the best. And the song! Words that Pa said after the crash. How did you find it? Truly amazing. I'm honored to count you as a friend! June
the beginning was so cool it was like she was celebrating. what is the song you use for the majority of the vid? its very fitting and moving. the ending is beautiful- i hope her and clark are celebrating somewhere like that. one of the best vids ive ever seen
Wonderful, wonderful, Jen! I love the celebration at the beginning and think she would like it, too. You have included some beautiful photos of her and also scenes from some of my favorite Lombard films. I love it!
This is so touching. I love it.

A beautiful tribute to a beautiful woman. Happy Birthday Carole! You are dearly missed.
It's funny how different she looks at 1:30 with William Powell.
