youre proper buff lol. but... qi energy is only felt with mixed controlled breathing while you sit upright with your head bowed down for half an hour without moving. just breathing. deep breathing for a count of 3-5 breaths and then relaxed. regular practice every day raises kundalini and you know when the serpent energy starts to make your neck slowly sway slightly from side to side. you alos feel your muscles break down into forced relaxation with the stretch as the energy moves up.
@saffnpepa haha thanks, however, you do not have to sit still in meditation for half an hour to feel your qi. It is flowing through your body with every breath you take, whether you are consciously experience the subtle effects of it or not. With practice you can begin to "feel" it right away, whenever you want. (with that being said, this video is rather old and my practice has developed tremendously since this recording)
your video is great to watch. its kinda looks a little like tai-chi. been thinking of getting into that as some of the movements are beautiful. ive been meditating most days for about a year now. tried some different methods so its great to see some new ideas from the percieved norm. ive tried your routine though and its a nice way to wake the muscles up. im a bit on the skinny side though but i can see how your routine can tone things up. you putting any new vids up?
@saffnpepa right on! im glad to hear you have been developing a strong meditation routine. And Im glad you're interested in my work, I am actually launching a website (around the end of march) where I will be creating regular content (videos, articles, tutorials) having to do with what I call Dynamic Self Mastery (com). You will be able to learn a powerful routine for mastering your physical body, both the conscious and unconscious mind, the emotional heart, and your spiritual self! stay tuned!
Shave your beard and go modelling man, you definitely have the body for it. Just don't bore the crap out of me, it's bad enough i am sitting at my laptop right now, imagine sitting here watching you sit! AND do monkey movements
i'm reading up at the moment on prana and its use for breatharians..... what is your opinions on the nourishment (of?with?) prana as a substitution for food/water ala jasmuheen?
@annabellabottali food and water are catalysts for bringing energy into the cells of your body. through your breath work you begin to bring that energy in directly w/out the need for the catalyst. this is how yogis spend days/weeks w/out physical nutrition. remember the story of jesus in the desert for 40 days w/out food or water? he knew exactly how to draw upon this pure form of energetic (spiritual) nourishment. keep up your breath-work! it will become more nourishing than your meals!
on my strength days i do a workout for my abdominals called V-ups, you may have heard of them before. I've been noticing whenever i finish a set of 10-15 i feel a burst of energy radiate from the base of my spine to the crown of my head. Are there any other strength workouts i could add just like V-ups to produce more energy like this?
i never new what chi was un til like a month ago and ive relized ive been doing it for about 3 years i think you gain chi energy in the movemnt of all your joints and breathing with your heart rate and i feel a buzz in my chest and i can push it any where in my body its like a boost of strengh
@krinnkzdotman yeah, it most definitely is! when you sync your movements with your breathing rate you can REALLY start to feel where your subtle energy (chi) is in your body. As your breath control increases you will be able to breathe from different areas of your body (ie. chest/stomach/diaphragm/throat...). Try pulling your chi UP when you inhale (towards your head) and then pushing it DOWN when you breath out (towards your butt bone). moving it around CONSCIOUSLY is super healthy and fun!
@LAWESTBY thank you. im glad you liked it. you might like some of the more recent videos i have done. they're on my channel. and i actually just finished another one that i will post tomorrow.
