EVERY Iranian expert agrees with Obama's approach, the Iranian People on Twitter agree with Obam's approach...So, what a few Neocons say for political reasons is what it is, just hot air. The smart approach is to watch and see where this goes and not start poppin off at the mouth b4 one knows what they are talking about. Like,"The Fundamentals of the Economy are strong" Obama waited and he was correct. Same applies here!

My opinion is with Obama's...We have to do something and if we take a pragmatic approach with open debate we will end up doing the right thing...The problems you mentioned are real but how do you solve them?

It is tough to choose to do the right thing, isn't it? There will always be reasons to make compromises. We have repeatedly made mistakes with compromises. A better choice would be for obama( and all others) to back what it is right, in this case, suffering people and also implement an ongoing strategy for dealing and countering public perception.

Good question. But Obama sure hasnt done anything to solve them. Like how do we fix the budget? His answer? SPEND a TRILLION FUCKING DOLLARS. If you are maxxed out on a credit card, and can't afford to pay it off, do you apply for ANOTHER credit card to pay it off? FUCK NO. But that's exactly what Obama is doing.

Issue was not just one of stimulus bill, look at how the first huge tarp bill was pushed thru, billions were needed to get rid of toxic assets; how much money was used for what we were told it was being asked for?

You are going to complain about ANYTHING Obama does so why not just say that?
The facts are Obama used a time tested theory of stimulating an economy through gov spending...The other choice was to let the economy do what it was doing FAIL! This would have cost 10X what Obama did! Now, he will have to manage debt. Time will tell!

FDR was elected in '31, and unemployment was at 16% and the Nat'l debt was 16 billion. By '39, unemplymnt went UP to over 20%, and the Nat'l debt grew to 40 billions. He got into price fixing, court packing and raised taxes to 79% for anyone who made more than 100k which choked off any kind of growth in the private sector.
