This song was 'our' song back in the late 70's when I was dating, and in love, with a girl named Gillian. It was special to us because we could not remain together at that time so our dream of a 'maybe' lived in these beautiful lyrics of Thom Pace and u tube has brought this short but happy time back to me. I still love Gillian as much as I love this song and the lovely scenes of our planet

I agree with cesar630. I'd like to add that we only have technology to blame for the way children are as compared to how we were. It's very simple - we grew up with wholesome shows and outlooks, the kids now are growing up with crap. Grizz Adams was "Tops" in my book and the song, to me, is very very spiritual.

There is another song he composed for the movie - which you can hear on YouTube - posted recently by "sunfillintg." It's another beautiful ballad. (The TV theme was also used during the movie's ending credits.)

Whenever I go for a walk in the woods this song is in my head.I loved this show so much when I was a kid. If there is one trait I wish I could have is the one that Adams had. Where the forest animals treated him like he was a natural part of the wilderness.How cool would that be go into the forest and not have the animals be afraid of you.
