  • yeah sure "grass"

    ;)

  • where can u get henna powder???

  • @vballmahomie97

I can get it at my local health food shop. (in australia - not sure about anywhere else) hope that helps.

  • What is the black thing. :) !!!!

  • Where do you buy the henna powder?

  • what is the "black"?

  • Do you Have to use the molasses , or will it stick to the skin and dry fine without it? I live in the south and it's extremely humid, which I know can affect the drying time

  • @maryjanesback you don`t have to use molasses, people like to use it to avoid cracking of the paste, since it is humid in your region you wouldn`t have to add sugar or molasses.

  • the woman looked scary!

  • wow it's very good can i ask you a qustion where do you buy the powder

  • let it dry in someplace dry like an over.. but turned off. LMAO!!! alright

  • 0:01 to skip the ad

  • from where i can buy henna applicator

  • Can we add honey instead of molasses ?

  • @sonyhiphop18 Honey will hinder the stain.

  • im good about hina and i do hina for my guest $70

  • Why is my henna green when i let it sit over night??? is it low quality?

  • does anybody know how a can make temporary henna tattoos?

  • For some reason I've tried using this but it dyes my skin a very pale orange. I'm wondering if I just have a low quality henna? Anyone have any ideas?

  • @botensaka

i think that it wasnt a low quality henna. it happens when the henna powder isnt fresh. to know if your henna is fresh you have to make your henna paste and use it. to keep it fresh its just store it and put in the freezer. it will stay good for some months

  • @botensaka could be you bought henna that is for hair, since that doesn`t really stain the skin, the smell is the smae the colour too but it doesn`t stain well. They don`t use the leafs for that type of henna that`s why it`s not that strong. That could be, since the powder is good for quite some time it would have to be really old henna, like older than 2 years.

  • @botensaka Your henna should be fine but after it flakes of rub a lemon-molasas mixture gently on the stain to seal it. i will be pale orange at first but if you avod water for a few days the colour should darken and become darkest on the 3rd or 4th day

  • what if you're black? do henna tattoos still show up?

  • To all you ignorant idiots, people who arent paying attention And so called experts. There are several different ways to make this not everyone does it the same. It is molasses (mol-ass-is) . If you were listening correctly she did not say the molasses aids in the darkening or staining process it simply helps the henna STICK TO THE SKIN BETTER. So a word of advice to you and the rest of the youtube comunity. IF YOU CAN'T SAY ANYTHING NICE DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL.

  • wut da fuck is dis does dis make a fake tatoo cuz if it does ihave no choice but 2 write FAKE n GAY fake Ñ gay

  • yes tea is very good and you can boil eggplants peals and use the water instead of tea also that works really good

  • it looks like smashed poop

  • uhmm..wut da heck is a molases?!!

  • (ok please rate me 1-5 if you want)

ok so in March,10 2010 i was in vegas I got my henna tatto up the and i had to let it dry for about 2 hours then when all the boackish or greenish stuff cam off i can barly see it it. I think i got riped off cause it did not get darker

and i feelt bad But i can see it a little bit of it.

  • Lots of advertisment on this video (in the comments)

  • This is my video. It's "molasses" which you can buy at the market near honey. the sugar in it helps the henna to stick. Many henna artists use it.

  • wt fluubber is "melasssiis""

  • es mejor art corporal

  • thats true , i heard about the guess but one kind of oil they use and its kind of mehndi oil.

  • omg this bitch is adding some sort of secret ingredient that no1 seems to knoe wtf is it O_o

  • It's Molasses!

  • Have you never heard of molasses?!

  • can anyone tell me what all thing she is putting inside to mix it??????????? plzzz anyone!

  • let me tell u something guys, i work in a henna salon and we mix the henna we use the henna powder, lemon juice, sugar, and little of car gas because the car gas gives the henna a black color. and that may give u the burning feel, also the henna will turn out black after u wash it. i've been working 4 years and nothing happend to none of our customers and they love the resulte in the end.

  • "Car gas" is toxic on the skin and should never be used in henna. If you make henna correctly, you'll get great stain and it doesn't need to be black.

  • can anyone help how to make henna alone?? pls reply

  • hello

what did you add to the henna and water mix? I don't understand all of the video :S

    thanx

  • u just need water.. u can put some sugar element and lemon juice...

  • a little molasses or sugar if you don't have molasses

  • i got my henna tattoo 2day at skool! its so gud it luks brill!

  • I got one yesterday and I got in the pool like 4 hours later and it came likte all the ay off. I payed like 13 bucks for it to :[

  • That could be because there is chlorine in pool water, which basically is bleach.

  • i add tea - WAY better

  • omg thank u sooooooo much!

  • black coffee aswell

  • liquid tea?

  • yes.

make the tea... from like non flavored tea... and put it instead of the water...

and take out the leaves ofcourse... if you know how to make tea then your good.

  • why do you have to put sugar in it? i use cold strong black tea and a bit of lemon juice, and my henna turns out fine...

  • this lady looks like a freak

  • thanks

  • were do you get henna powder if you live in raleigh north carolina

  • there are a few websites, just look up henna on google.

  • You could try your local Indian grocery store. It's in the hair care aisle. At least that's where it is here in Kentucky. I use henna and other ayurvedic herbs on my hair. Make sure what you get is BAQ: Body Art Quality, it should say 100% ground henna leaves on the box/bag , nothing else.

  • if i may ask um where do you buy the henna powder?

  • I buy the powder direct from the Jamila supplier in Pakistan and sell it on my site, but you can buy it from any henna supplier.

  • how much does this cost.?

nd how long does it stay.?

  • Henna usually stays for about 1 month depends on how much u wash ur hands, don't rub ur skin too hard by the fiber, and here in the middle east, it costs 100 dollar and over.

  • on hands, henna stays for about three weeks or maybe slightly more. depends also on your skin type. it definitely won't stay on for more than a month. and it depends on what the cost is. you can get the henna cones at almost any indian/asian store. some are available at craft stores at the front counter. the cones are usually fairly expensive ranging from about $2 to about $5. If you want to get it professionally done, then it's more expensive. But that depends on how much you get.

  • thx hunn.

  • is it edible?

  • Wait...so we can use sugar instead of mollasses

  • yes

  • I know it looks like that now, but it looks BEAUTIFUL when its actually put on!

  • YOU HAVE A REALLY "BIG" HEAD!

  • y u gotta b a dick dude

  • People think it's funny to point out others faults(or what doesn't look 'normal' them) because they feel it makes them look cool. Especially kids. Kinda makes you sick, doesn't it?

  • thats fucked up man.

  • looks like poop

  • IT DOES

  • lol, real mature...

  • I've seen henna tattoos, they come out this beautiful red color. Kinda looks like a facial mask right now.

  • she put way to much water

  • the spoon reminds me of the ones i give to costumers at dairy queen

  • 24 hours!! goghhh! twenty Foooour HHHOOOURSSS

  • molasses lol

  • where can i get molasses?

  • The hennapage and some artists say you should not add water for it takes teh staining quality away, just a bit.

The best henna artists I have seen use only lemon juice and advise you to stay away from water even after getting the design

  • It does not take away staining power. test for yourself if you don't trust my expert advice.

  • get over yourself already!! god!

  • aleast she making a viedo if your such an expert than make one your self damn it!

  • you don't have to put molasses, this is the forst time i have seen this and i have been doing henna for like four years now add eucalyptus oil and lemon juice and dab sugar and water on it while it is drying.

  • how do you make your henna, I dont know, see it is in my culture to put henna, now we can get cones, when I was young we just used to make henna at home, but your way seems right. This lady making henna, seems like she learned it too from some one, it is not in their culture to put henna. please send me your recipe for henna, and how do you apply, do you make your own cone?? thanks

  • you can get ready made hanna from pakistani shops

  • where can i get henna paste in New Jersey USA???

  • this lady is an idiot. to get a lasting intense tattoo you have to use the sugar water after it's dry!! Moron!!

  • you can add sugar water to the actual mixture as well, you use the sugar water afterwards to hold the henna -not to set the color.

  • i gave out half of the tip, there is more to the "recipe" than that, people use different methods to give out a steardy resistant tattoo, i have tried them all and i know which is better. the problem is this lady is suppose to be an expert and she doesn't seem to know much. and when does the phrase "get a lasting tattoo" is similar to suggesting it is used to set the color? learn to understand please.

  • the only way your tattoo can last, is if the color sets. the darker the henna is, the longer it lasts

  • which method works best i wanna know and i sgree with you she doesn't know much :P

Oh and by the way I do have a good hard drive camera and the possibility of doing videos, i just choose not to do them because why? yes, go back to the first part of this message.

  • it's molasses

  • thanks very much ^^

  • you're welcome

  • Where can i get the ingredients? i dont know where to get the henna powder

  • Most Indian food stores carry henna powder. Also you can buy it online. Just look up Henna Powder (make sure you get the kind for skin, not hair)

  • You can even get it from normal stores like superstore and all.

  • no u cant

  • You can also use natural hair dyes..they come in all sort of funky colours. I found mixing them with a little sugar and pure lemon oil helps the application and adsorption ;-)

  • sure y not lol

  • go to venice 10 bucks

  • could you subsitute the henna powder with anything?

  • What? The henna powder is the whole point. It is what makes the stain.

You can use any kind of sugar, even table sugar. Different types of sugar (fructose, dextrose etc) give different textures and different sticking powers and drying times of the paste. The longer it stays "wet" the better the stain. Also, the humidity of the air makes a difference.

  • i was going to ask the same thing

"""what about corn or maple syrup????

  • i need 2 go tinkle!

  • Will Corn Syrup Work for this?
