  • this is the clearest quality of a live version of this song that I've ever heard

  • u r all fools!!!

  • Horrible cover. They don't even BEGIN to do this justice.

  • @wakaw07 ... The most obscure lineup is the current one. I saw one listing as Puppet Show with Styx.

  • why did they even cover this song? just wondering, was it at all famous? its definately not the intellectual prog rock that styx is capable of but they do it well. on the original, dennis does nnoott sound like himself especially in the bridge. weird.

  • Why can't I find a decent version of this by the Bad Examples?

  • @Smegmatrix Good question. Saw 'em in a club in Joliet many years ago. Bought the CD off their merch table. I guess he found better success recording songs for kindergarten students.

  • @Smegmatrix Also, this is the first I knew that Styx had covered it! Now ... who's covered "One Perfect Moment?"

  • ahh → STYX is dead now-- have been for a while--

  • Dennis DeYoung sucks. He took a great Ralph Covert song and made the lyrics less offensive. Get the original by The Bad Examples (Covert's band). Dennis DeYoung leaving Styx was the best thing to ever happen to the band. Go play Pontius Pilate again you loser!!!

  • Oh you are so right- because offensive lyrics are what Styx has ALWAYS been about...

  • dude are you really that screwed up this is a GOOD cover song by styx.

  • They changed the lyrics. Dennis DeYoung sucks. Go out and listen to the original. It rocks. The rest of Styx is still good. DeYoung blows.

  • i think this is a good cover, even though you might not like it

  • A cover isn't about being better than the original

  • good song

  • Hummm, They sound like the Bad Examples without Ralph. ;)

  • i agree.

  • I agree too ...

  • Hummm. They sound like Styx without TS. Without Dennis... well... they sound more like Spinal Tap.

    Thanks for posting!

  • @crananon Well considering that this video has less than 9,000 hits after 3 years I would say that most styx fans disagree with you! I know I do! This was and will forever remain the most obscure and least interesting era of this great band!
