To Theologikos: Its hard to see any major religion exemplify these traits today. Most just exclude, deride and serrate people rather than bring them together in the spirit of the common good. However, I would suggest that Hinduism is the most inclusive, peaceful, and logically rational, purist and longest lasting religion the world has ever seen. We should not focus on only the negative things religion has braught us. It has also created much peace and harmony, love and compassion.

You give them the answer backed by evidence and they either claim bias or just ask more questions without conceding to their last lost argument.

The one who against the prophets are two type, the one who are in the corrupted religion and the one who don't believe in God (atheists). Now i ask you, where your morality come from? Where is your sense of good and evil come from? It is from religion, you cannot deny this it is because human civilization begin with the moral system/religion then moving to material. Without moral, we cannot make any civilization or even small village.
The difference between Sunni and Syiah is only political and little differences. The difference between Catholic and Protestant are various including their faith. Ok now, what about atheists? Islam is the rebirth of the original ancient religion, carry the same message that "There is no God but God" and "God is One and Only". You may study this from all religion you can find this message out of all corruptions. Islam is the religion of all messengers(prophets) rebirth.
When new prophet being sent, the old corrupted priests and followers reject it because they have interests (money, power and influence). As you can see the history of prophets that they are rebellions. In Islam, prophet Muhammad is the last prophet, you may ask why there are 2 major group/sect in Islam. It is the same thing happen but the difference is, the faith in Islam cannot be corrupted, unlike what happen to other religion. Prophet Muhammad is the last, so his message protected.
The religion have become cultural and mix with culture. It is because of less interaction between peoples in ancient time, we all live isolated with each other. But when peoples are interacted with other people they borrow and mix the religion with other religions like Greek, Roman and Egypt, thus this crate another religion and new versions. (that also what happen to Christianity). Prophets are sent to clear these up.
I am a Muslim, i have watch this video with open mind. I hope you be open mind too. In Islam, God have sent prophets to mankind from time to time. These prophets are sent not only to Jews (the Jews and Christians believe prophets are sent to Jews and Jews are the Chosen People). All religions are actually from these prophets, you can find or extract the similarity of the religions despite differences. What happen is, their messages have been corrupted through ages
Quebec is interesting case. In the 50s Québec was overwhelmingly RC with 90% of the population attending church. Today the figure is 20% & the number is dropping. Many very old venerable church structures stand abandonned or waiting for sale & former monasteries & convents have long ago been converted to other uses. Just from casual observation I find that fewer & fewer people in canada are participating in organized religion. Many have some kind of vague belief in a supernatural power, but do not believe in a personal god. 23% of people in Canada stated in 2008 that they do not believe in any god. I believe the figure to be higher. If u take a peek inside any mainstream church nowadays u will see the majority in attendance have grey hair.

To Theologikos: Its hard to see any major religion exemplify these traits today. Most just exclude, deride and serrate people rather than bring them together in the spirit of the common good. However, I would suggest that Hinduism is the most inclusive, peaceful, and logically rational, purist and longest lasting religion the world has ever seen. We should not focus on only the negative things religion has braught us. It has also created much peace and harmony, love and compassion.

@Theologikos Good videos. I've had almost daily debates with religious people. They ask you to explain biology, morality, cosmology and all sorts of complex subjects. You give them the answer backed by evidence and they either claim bias or just ask more questions without conceding to their last lost argument.

We believe the Universe is the result of time and the laws of physics, not a conscious effort from a God. We view all religions equally, which is something you can't do as a christian, because you mostly live in fear of imaginary consequences.
Atheists have morality for the sake of living in a good world.
Theists have morality because 'God' told them to.

Nice video mate. Everyone in my family are Christians. However, I'm not religious at all. Im not saying I'm an Atheist, I just have never been a follower and I will not believe or do anything just because I'm told to. I'm much more of a seeker. This saddens me though because sometimes I feel like I would really like to be simple and religious. But how do i know which, if any, religion is right? What is the justification of USA invading Iraq and Afghanistan? And so they claim Islam and Muslims are evil and terrorists, all the evils are Muslims......for past 100 years what Muslim done? As you can see the history of prophets that they are rebellions. In Islam, prophet Muhammad is the last prophet, you may ask why there are 2 major group/sect in Islam. The religion have become cultural and mix with culture. It is because of less interaction between peoples in ancient time, we all live isolated with each other. But when peoples are interacted with other people they borrow and mix the religion with other religions like Greek, Roman and Egypt, thus this crate another religion and new versions. These prophets are sent not only to Jews (the Jews and Christians believe prophets are sent to Jews and Jews are the Chosen People). All religions are actually from these prophets, you can find or extract the similarity of the religions despite differences. What happen is, their messages have been corrupted through ages

Quebec is interesting case. In the 50s Québec was overwhelmingly RC with 90% of the population attending church. Today the figure is 20% & the number is dropping. Many very old venerable church structures stand abandonned or waiting for sale & former monasteries & convents have long ago been converted to other uses. Its really a dramatic transformation of a society.

Just from casual observation I find that fewer & fewer people in canada are participating in organized religion. Many have some kind of vague belief in a supernatural power, but do not believe in a personal god. 23% of people in Canada stated in 2008 that they do not believe in any god. I believe the figure to be higher. If u take a peek inside any mainstream church nowadays u will see the majority in attendance have grey hair.
