  • 2:00 Spaun Inferno Signature snare drum :D

  • You Rule Krimh! Good Stuff.

  • Impressive!

  • Umm...replacing snare heads after every song? What the hell is he doing to it?

  • @amusingisthedawn for optimal sound, there is honestly nothing wrong if he kept usin it other than slight sound change ( electronic trigger snare ftw imo )

  • @Level80irl rebound would be a problem...and I disagree, I like raw snare. of course, my subjective opinion is that you get true dynamics without triggering the snare.

  • nice double kick, quick \m/

  • SO FUCKING POWERFUL DOUBLE BASS

  • :D

  • Precision metal drumming.

  • his double bass is flawless.

  • Hard to believe how farm Krimh has come from recording covers with a 4 mic set-up in a small room to recording full songs in his apartment to being the drummer of Decapitated.

  • Isn't that also where Behemoth recorded 'Evangelion'?

  • @drummakid101

    Yup:>

  • inferno signature snare 2:02 :l :l

  • its hard to find a snare to record, you can't have many options you'll go nuts

  • So you're just watching the video. No big deal. "Oh, pedals--cool. I use those too." Then 3:10 to 4:12 happens.

    WHAT

    THE

    FUCK

  • What a hard hitter! Reminds me of Hoglan.

  • I have never seen a drummer hit sooo damn hard!

  • Wow with how hard he hits the snare it is odd that on the cd, the snare sounds quiet compared to everything else.

  • thank you for posting this

  • I have been following your videos since you have been uploading them. Congratulations Kerim! Nothing but the best wishes and Metal Dreams! God Bless!

  • one fill sounding like slipknot haha

  • :D :D :D oh...badass

  • Best double bass technique i have ever seen.

  • hehe ciekawe jakby Krimh wymówił "czarcie kopyto"

  • The Knife... ;)

  • i´d buy the album just to hear the beat form 3:10 in a song context:D

  • @karl9864

It's the song United. 2nd track on the album. BUY IT, it's fucking good.

  • You actually JOINED Decapitated..???!!!? lucky fucker, but your still no Vitek :/

  • @CosmicKush420 no shit

  • @CosmicKush420 He didnt join Decapitated he was hired after an audition.....Of course he isnt Vitek, youre a special kind of stupid arent you?

  • Dude, you sound like arnold schwarzennegger, that's epic enough

  • The fill at 0:12 is sick.

  • the knife

  • watching how far back the beaters are going he really is raping the drum set...

  • What is the difference between the 10" Mb20 Splash and the 12" Mb20 Splash?

  • @RESIDENTovEVIL First is 10" and second 12" ?! :D xD

  • I simply caanot believe you are now in Decapitated. Amazing.... Amazing...

  • /watch?v=XcWaSE5Qlrk

  • How many hours per day do you rehearse the songs or practice them ?

  • is covan doing the vocals in this album?

  • @demonictapeworm nope, its a new guy called Rafal Piotrowski

  • At 2:47 , how come the beater is wooden but look like black plastic in the reflection? :S

  • @TrumOlle yeah haha what the fuck?

  • @TrumOlle PEDALCEPTION

  • @TrumOlle Mindfuck :o

  • I fucking love this drummer <3 <3 <3

  • which song is at 3:14 ?

  • @billdim1 united

  • @billdim1 It's a song called United. You can hear it on the video that previews their upcoming album.

  • What a machine!

  • JUST RELEASED ALBUM PREVIEW AND SONGS, FUCKING CHEK IT OUT!!!!

  • There is a dislike on this video. Why the hell is there a dislike on this video? I'm am officially angry.

  • @Blixish It's called idiot or poser..as you wish..or faggot..

Hope this album come out really soon.

That fuckin starclassic g maple was a gift from inferno to krimh.

    FUCKIN SHOTGUN SNARE

  • @Fuck1nMetal There are now TWO dislikes! :O Goddammit, how hard can it be to appreciate good music?

    Kerim, I am proud!

  • @DoNotCIickThis

    Thanks alot!!!

  • I want more!!!! :)

  • What's the song that plays while he is talking?

  • i know im probably gonna get hate for mentioning joey jordison on a death metal video, but i cant help noticing that the beat at 1:21-1:48 sounds hell a lot like the main beat on his disasterpieces dvd solo

  • @DrewFarmie2 First i'd like to say since I am not a fan of Joey Jordison, I haven't watched whatever beat you are talking about, so really I can't say too much haha.

About it being similar, that may be true, but alot of beats are going to be very similar as more and more songs are released, though they won't be identical.

  • For those who like to compare this guy with Vitek, you should remember that it could be 1000 times worse, this guy is amazing aswell!

  • AWESOME I can not wait to buy this album

  • "I don't like big drumkits" (Vitek said this on their preview of their second album) so you think he knew that or is it a sign that he is going to be a good choice. certianly has good style. (btw, of course don't try to live up to vitek , be yourself and everything but if he is good and plays with good style this is what decapitated is about)

  • 0:00 - 0:35 oh my fucking god.

imagine the epic guitar riff behind that lol.

  • @DethKlokateer thats exactly what i was doing dude the new album is going to be awesome i read a review of it and they said that the title track is like the Master Of Puppets of tech death metal

  • 3:13

  • i dont think he has enough blankets.............

  • <3 krimhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • why he dont chage the cymbals? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

  • That's some sweet hair. In all fairness.

  • 3:10 This is 404 ?

  • @SETHx1996 yeah 1:20 is too

  • I remember the days when he had like 1000 subs on youtube, now he plays in one of my favourite bands and is on SIckdrummer.. well deserved my friend. keep it up.

  • @nocuousfumes that's a Shure SM7b minus the windscreen. Pretty a

Amazing to see him doing the 16th note rolls that fast, then switch right into triplets and back. What a talent

  • GODAAMMM U DESTROY THE HEADS bro!!! LOL mine last like a 3months each and ive been told i hit hard but u destroy me

  • Why does he move his feet to the sides when he's playing the double bass? Is it the way it is supposed to be done, or is just his preference?

  • @jamjestteo he's swifeling (i hope i spelled it right). It's just a technique like heel-toe. Most drummers who play that fast use it. Some say its more relaxing to swifel than playing 'normal'

  • @jamjestteo As has been indicated, he's using the swivel technique. There's no right or wrong way to approach double bass whether it be heel up, heel down, heel toe, swivel, etc., so yeah, it's just preference. Pretty much everyone's foot will swivel just a little bit whenever they play fast but people like Krimh and George Kollias employ it as an actual technique.

  • Recording geek question: Anyone know what kind of mic that was on the snare taped to the RE20? Thanks.

  • the pedal is czarcie kopyto which in english means devil's hoof. the first person to test it i think was inferno from behemoth also from poland :) i think the pedal is also Polish making and compared to axis or trick it's havier then either of 'em but still looks sick :)

  • @AllInDrummer i've been looking at many different pedals, i played the axis for cpl of years then they broke and i tought what the hell and tried the demondrives, now the demons has some really cool features but i didn't get what i was looking for, mainly because even with the springs at max i didn't get the pedals reponse that i wanted, now i was wondering how the springs are at the czarcie, got any idea?

  • @AllInDrummer Funny you should ask I(Anton, SDM) was in studio yesterday and happened to have a pair of Paoul From Vader's on hand (he has 6 sets). I have to say they were Amazing feeling I was surprised they were spring so smooth and great power, awesome Pedals imo. They are also very light and i can say very durable doesn't look like allot can go wrong with these.

  • @sickdrummerdotcom i love long board pedals but i dont they they beat the solid power and controll of the iron cobra pedals.

  • @sickdrummerdotcom i've been wondering about theese pedals for a long time. They seems to have all the convenience features i've been looking for, plus the playing features, i played axis for a long time and kind of got hooked on that drive lever, taking it all the way back and have loose tension, just like shannon from TBDM made the pedal exactly what i wanted. That beeing said they broke down relativly quick without a case and i bought the demons, which i am not satisfied with at all.

  • @sickdrummerdotcom would you recommend theese pedals? does the setting on the "yoke" or whatever they call it translate to the drive lever on the axis? if so this is my dream pedal, cause it sure seems alot more sturdy, plus a case on the buy. And also are the springs normal or heavy duty, prefer the ability to really crank em like on the axis if i want to. Doesn't say anything about this on the website.

  • @sickdrummerdotcom got myself theese pedals couple of weeks ago, i wanted to find a replacement for my axis who didn't quite cut it when looking at durability, got myself demons, but after 6 months i couldn't get the same speed and controll that i did with axis, i got myself those gorgeous devils hoofs, and they haven't dissapointed me one bit, have about 60% spring tension and they are as responsive as the axis on 100%, but still maintaining power and control.

  • @nonhasthisusername Nice, if you don't mind my asking (I've been extremely curious), but what did they set you back?

  • @BlastBrutality just around 6000 kroners, i'm norwegian you can look that up what currency that is compared to yours. But in my country demon drives are 6900 kroners and axis are 7-8 thousand, so still cheaper for me. i might add tho that i tried "kollias" settings on them with maxed spring and beaters far back and the springs broke, but luckily they sent me an extra spring with the pedals to begin with. Probably because it's a heavy pedal with heavy beaters and alot of swing.

  • @AllInDrummer dude i wish those pedals were available in the US!! they are bad as hell. the only pedal i have found that i like are my Iron Cobras. all the other pedals i have kicked around on are too floppy or to light. i want something with some balls!!!

  • krihm is a beast!!

  • THAT FUCKIN SNARE IS A FUCKIN BLAST...FUCKIN SHIT

  • Krimh is a vessel, Vitek speaks through him.

  • Krimh, First of all, kick ass job man! I fucking love your playing, and the fact that you are in decapitated is awesome.

I started looking up czarcie kopyto pedals and was immediately impressed. I know you are endorsed by them, but how much are the twin pedals? I live in Canada so I am guessing it will be expensive as hell. If you can answer this, thanks! If not, it's all good!

    Keep blasting brother!

    -Mason

  • @MasonBangsDrums I got a response from them. They happen to be quite busy, but it was about like 800 euros for a double and singles are 500 euros.

  • I can't wait to hear you guys play here in India! We've been waiting too damn long for a gig with you guys on stage. I'm glad the band found a worthy replacement for Vitek. May he rest in piece and blast the horns off of the red guy! Cheers!

  • Thanks for the new upload Krimh! Allways nice to your new stuff!! Make sure your gettin' dat chedder for all those endorsements! If you're gonna sell their goods make sure you get the keys to the bakery!!!

Please try to come to the USA. Reno, NV would be a good place to play!!!

  • The song in the intro .. Sounds pretty killer !

  • Any one knows the name of the intro song ??

    sounds pretty killer !

  • @deadlyxxgame It is The Negation from Decapitated's album The Negation

  • Why krimh use 2 different bass drum ( imperialstar and starclassic bass drum) ????

  • 2:49

    In reflection = black head

    Actual pedal = White head

    The fuck?

  • holy fuck he murdered that snare skin

  • whens the album coming out!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • My comment might have came off as if praising the pedals over the Krimh's playing. Even if the pedals were shit this video would be awesome, Krimh is beating the shit out of those drums, the drumming is just tight, groovy, powerful and fast as well. I am sure Decapitated is going to kick our ass this year, sincerely think that the next album is going to be amazing. But those pedals do look great as well thanks for introducing them.

  • i remember when he did a tryout video for decapitated. now he's recording an album. sick.

  • That linear beat he first plays at the beginning is also shown how to do by mike Johnston. Lol. doesn't really seem decapitatedish. rip vitek

  • @biggt96 that doesn't matter right? vogg explained that every album is different from de past one so, this album is also different from the others :P

  • Ya know, its so fucking weird seeing this kid record with them. Ive been subscribed to him for a few years watching is Decapitated drum covers, and now he's their drummer. Goddamn

  • damn, i knew he was good, but didnt realise he was THAT good. cant wait for this album to drop!

  • Nice job Kerim, where the hell did you get the cash for those snares and kits from?! xD

  • @TommyOwnzU The snare drums were owned by the studio.

  • @sickdrummerdotcom i see :P

  • @TommyOwnzU Most professional studios will have a library of very high quality drum gear for the artist to choose from. At Radio Gdansk studios they probably have everything, judging by how the engineer chose to mic the snare, they know what there doing. Also if a drum kit is already at the studio the engineer will know best how to capture it.

  • KRIMH!!!!!

  • Can... not... wait... for this... album

  • @Drakkengoth Dude,I must make a preorder...

  • @Drakkengoth /watch?v=XcWaSE5Qlrk

    SOMETHING BEYOND FUCKIN AMAZING

  • Krimh fucking deserved a band likes this.

  • The bassdrumm holy shit, the speed.

  • Flawless technique:D

  • Hmmm there's a bell in his left side that he doesn't name! i'm not happy about it, no no no

  • @Drakhai It's that 10" he said before he went to the crash BEFORE he went to the hi-hat.

  • @Drakhai Fuck nevermind, you're right haha.

  • I like Krimh's style. Gives me good hopes for the new album.

  • Fucking Awesome. Can't wait for the Album. \m/ For me one of the best Tech Metal Bands out there.

  • I heard that he didn't trigger kicks for this recording. Is this true?

  • @ 1:59 is that center snare the Spaun Inferno signature Behemoth model? It looks like the eagle wings but might be a Ludwig black beauty.

  • Don't think I've seen anyone with hair that long besides Ross from immolation. New songs sound different, but awesome. Can't wait for the new album!

  • @Decius541 Tim Yeung and Alexander Krull xD

  • @Decius541 check out danny from the australian prog band Eyefear. his hair touches the ground. he wears it as a cape. its insane!

  • what´s the name of the song he started to play at around 3:10?

  • Damn, that's so much control and power in his feet!

  • This comment is in no way related to the fact that 1 person dislikes this video.

  • AMAZING! This guy, now, in my opinion when you play really "speed of light" death metal songs, is very hard to have interesting arrangements , fills, rolls and play tight and strength, but THIS GUY have all together... the plays all notes high and clear.. you can listen to all details... and he is usin mics only... I loved it... congratulations man! I can say that you are one os best death metal drummers in this days!!

  • you can tell hes heavily influenced by gene hoglan

  • Man I can't wait 2 hear tha new album! Gonna b freakin sick! Krimh kerim is soooooo good! He makes me wanna quit drumming! Lol

  • Wow those pedals look awesome. Cool video.

  • @calvinjaramillo Thanks...

  • @sickdrummerdotcom make a video of Sami Latva, from rotten sound

  • Correction: some badass songs.

  • Sounds like the makings of a badass fuckin' song.

  • I want to see him play, not commercial endorser bullshit.

  • @a54635 Was all that footage of him playing not good enough for you?

  • Comment removed

  • @webbtje Not long enough. 40 second clips are a fucking joke.

  • Oh well. I'm sure you could look up some of the hours of footage of him that are scattered around youtube.

  • @webbtje Seen every single one :|

  • CZARCIE KOPYTO!!!

  • 3:05 he sounds just like Arnold Schwarznegger

3:18 looks like he's having a spack attack

  • @ReeceRAWR Well, he is Austrian.

  • That double bass is crazy. Awesome power. Good skills man!

  • Krimh... YOU ARE A FUCKING MANIAC! Happy to see that your talent isn't going un-noticed.

  • He hit the head very hard!! wtf... Every Song?... WOW!!

  • Great player. I'm looking forward to hearing him with one of the greatest bands on the planet.

  • sick!

  • Fuckin awesome! Can't wait for the new album!

  • Czarcie kopyto najlepsze!

  • jaw just dropped...need to go pick it up

  • Awesome drummer

  • OMG DRUM ROLL WITH THE KICKS! XP

  • ha in the time i watched this, accidentally clicked on another video, and came back, it got a dislike

  • Awsome I started watching krimh here in youtube doing band covers and now look at him...I always said he was to awsome to just do covers although the other 2 bands he was in were nice but for him to be in Decapitated its sick and this is sick..:)

  • Krimh is brutal!

  • Very Good!

  • so glad that this wasn't a blast fest

  • INFERNO SNARE!!!

  • YES, this will be great!

  • what does putting the blankets and matresses on the bass drums do?

  • @MasonBangsDrums

It's easier to record bass drums that way, other drums won't interfere so that the bass drum mic only records bass drum sounds.

  • @Irakso

    makes sense. thank you

  • @MasonBangsDrums Plus if you don't do it, you're bass drum sounds kinda hollow.

  • Just cause he's gotta change toms every second song doesn't mean he hits too hard.
