  • Greatest right handed slugger of all time.

  • Frank Thomas is the reason why I collected baseball cards. I had every one up until 1995. He is the reason why I still like the White Sox. The Big Hurt FTW!!

  • does anyone remember the time he seen twenty something pitches in one at bat and finally belted a home run out of the deal? It was when he was with the sox against the twins ... i want to say during the 2004 season ... i would love to see that here on youtube!!

  • Frank looks like a gorilla

  • Big Hurt was the Greatest ever to put on a White Sox uniform unfortunately he was a dick! Not quite as bad as Barry Bonds but definately had a bad attitude on life. I grew up 5 min from Sox park and stood outside the parking lot fence by his car every chance I got. He never smiled, always had an attitude and rarely signed until P.R told him to change his attitude and sign some autographs!

  • isn't that good . ty new music

  • this video isn't that good . put some better music in the video and make it longer. watch my remembering nick swisher on the white sox video

  • In my mind, a hall-of-famer no doubt. i cant wait until the sox retire his number

  • he is the greatest hitter...a great eye for pitches like ted williams, we shoulda stayed with the sox instead of thome.he was the greatest

  • The Big Hurt isn't that much better than Thome.

  • One of my favorite players of all time. Even though he was injured for the majority of 2005, I am glad that the White Sox were able to get him a ring. To bad they couldn't do the same with Griffey.

  • Go Sox!!!!!!!!!!

  • He is my favorite player in the MLB

  • Hes the reason i been playin ball since i was 6

  • 521 HR's, .301 average,1,704 RBI's, 1494runs scored, .555 Slugging percentage. He's a hall of famer by far

  • Not to mention he has an OPS+ of 156 and EqA of .333.

  • One of my favorite players.

If it wasn't for some shortened seasons, he could have gone down as one of the greatest hitters ever. He's still one of the greatest first basemen ever though.

  • *Greatest hitting first basemen, at least

  • i'd say 500 home runs puts you in contention for one of the best hitters ever, he'll be in the HOF for sure.

and he did it without steroids.

  • THOMAS #35 WHITE SOX

my fav player as a kid

  • Song name?

  • Frank Thomas hits a Home Run every 15.7 At Bats

  • Best homerun hitter of his time and he did it without the juice!!!

  • I can't believe Franky hasn't been pursued by a ton of clubs. he's a freaking BEAST and can still rake. he just never got on track last season with my A's. he and Griffey Jr. are the scariest sluggers. Mariners should sign Big Hurt and bat Junior 3rd and Thomas 4th...fuck that'd be sweet

  • I remember as a kid in the 90's I would always dream about Griffey and Thomas on the same team batting 3rd and 4th. Would be sick to see that combo!

  • That's because there's not anyone else in the game today with 500 homers that wasn't juicing. HUGE PROPS to Big Frank for doing it old school and maintaining the honor of a true athlete. We salute you

  • i have hiz white sox jersey along wit michael jordanz

  • Great to see a player in baseball today that isn't afraid to be interviewed about steroids and is clean, always has been. 500 unjuiced home runs, not many guys in todays game that has 500 can say that.

  • thomas is huge he awsome i love that guy he can destroy the ball

  • My opinion is this. If the Blue Jays hadn't stupidly abandoned this man they'd be challenging for a playoff spot. Tell me Cito Gaston wouldn't want a guy like Frank Thomas in his line-up.

  • Frank Thomas is the legend of the White Sox! One of the greatest players!

  • I totally i agree when i was younger (his rookie year) he has been and always will be my fav. baseball player i have over 5k$ worth of cards, autographs balls bats etc. of his i am still kinda upset that he has fell outta grace but ill never sell his stuff i even named my cat frank and hes black and white! an d 15 years old

  • i love the big hurt i wish he would return to the sox

and sammy sosa gargles ballsacks- he needed steroids to be a "good" ballplayer -frank never juiced up and he still is and will always be great-you never hear anything about sammy sosa anymore-cubs suck

    GO SOX!!!

  • Interesting fact that probably no one cares about, but he is exactly 16 years older than me. Yup I was born on May 27th too! Jeff Bagwell was born on May 27th as well! I'm not sure what year though, maybe 1968...

  • Best hitter in Chicago baseball history

  • maybe cuz he aint juiced

  • FUCK SAMMY

  • First ballot into cooperstown. Best Sox hitter ever!

  • u have any proof, are you in the dugout and the locker room.

  • My all time favor baseball player!!!!!!!!!

    Go White Sox

  • I wish the ChiSox still had the Big Hurt.

They should have signed him when Toronto released him. He could have been the White Sox's full time DH.

The ChiSox need another bat in their lineup to help them pull away from Detroit and Cleveland in the AL Central. Detroit and Cleveland are down, but not out.

Thomas' bat could have helped the Sox put some more distance between them and the Tigers and Indians.

  • jays released him today. the leading home-run hitter and rbi-getter on the team.

  • frank thomas has been my favoite baseball player since i was 7 years old he has it all as an ofensive baseball player i just wonder what could have been if he didn t get injured those year am sure he could of had 600 home run easy and 3,000 hits go big hurt ur number 1 fan manny b

  • and to believe he did the right way......without steroids. The dude is beig enough already, he doesn't need them. He's the man for sure!!!

  • him and Jim Thome are so big they dont need the juice.

  • this guy is a fuckin freak, he's right the tank. The Big Hurt

  • well done my friend! Frank has been my favorite player ever since I was 6 years old......future hall of famer!!

  • 500!! woo good job frank :D

  • 499 bitches 1 more

  • Up to 493 HRS. And learn how to spell, cocksmack.

  • 488 hr's tonight

  • I hope he still has it guys. We need the trophy here in Toronto.

    Go Jays Go

  • why do they call him the big hurt???

cause he's big, and he will hurt you

  • Ur si gay its about how he would hit homeruns off pitchers dipwad

  • he looks the best in a good ol' Sox uniform

  • too bad the sox didnt agree with you...now hes in White and Blue...the series returns to toronto again!

  • i've wishfully pictured thomas being a blue jay for a long time...lets hope its not too late

  • yeah im a big fan of him...but that sucked

  • My favourite ball player of all time... And I live in New Zealand!!! He'll get his 500th HR this season and I know whichever stadium it happens, he'll get an amazing standing ovation, which he rightly deserves... Best of luck to the Blue Jays this year...

  • Toronto love's him already, and if he get's #500 in Toronto he will blow the top off that dome!!!

  • Big Frank = My HERO

  • Me too...I hve about 1000 of his baseball cards. I've been collecting since I was 8, hahaha.

  • FRANK THOMAS FOR LIFE.... I Love u big
