many ways to do this. You may need software such as Cakewalk Music Maker and hook the system up through stereo cords. Or, using an external digital recorder to record real-time. For better quality, i'd use the computer software, but it's much harder.
wparch: did you upgrade to the new OS? Mine seems to have a few bugs with the factory OS.

It's good for LOTS of genres. It was built for hip hop, but i do experimetnal. I have the purple one.
