  • Oh god I just sit there and my head starts to move on its own.

  • Does anyone know where I could grab a copy of the CD from? So hard to find

  • @CactaurJumbo You and others might be happy to know Ed Harrison has them posted on his site in FLAC format.

    edharrison[dot]net/neotokyo/NTFLAC[dot]html

  • @JaEd0 cheers for that mate. Hmmm looks like he might be active again, hope that bodes well for some new music. Thanks again, downloading now

  • God I wish I knew how to program so I could ressurrect this game. This soundtrack is beautiful and it never got the justice it deserved in the game. Shit, the game's idea itself was awesome and it didn't get the justice it deserved. If only the dev team didn't abandon it...

  • Too bad the game has failed . At least its Soundtrack was a bit sucessfull at least . But that just shows how important the Soundtrack of the game can be and how Soundtracks can be this good . I hope the creator of the OST will be hired from a big gaming company .

  • This song has such a haunting vibe. It makes you feel like the world around you is slowly begining to decay and corrupt under hands of technologically-advanced greed. You are left to fend for yourself in a hostile wastland while all hope seems lost in time. Another great soundtrack by the ever-creative Ed Harrison! :)

  • is this still available for purchase?

  • This Ed Harrison dude.

Won't be surprised to see him making some major film or videogame soundtrack in a not so close future.

  • whats the NSF victory theme called?

  • such a great track

  • I could listen to 2:00 on repeat for hours.

  • I wished this had more rage in it... as in, the musical sort.

  • true, but it's still awesome

  • @PokeDude1995 - Personally I'm kinda sick of agression in everything.

  • @PokeDude1995 I actually like Neotokyo's lack of aggression. The less forceful music gives it a more ethereal and virtual feel. It sounds like the emotions of living in a world where electronics and virtual reality invade all areas of reality, including warfare. The whole conflict is delivered in a game-like manner. Even though Neotokyo is a game, the atmosphere feels like reality trying to be a game.

  • this music is dope.

  • It's going to be crazy when, in the future, Ed Harrison becomes the next hit video game musician. I'll be all like "YEAH! THAT'S THE GUY WHO MADE THAT AWESOME MOD MUSIC!" ... And all my friends will be like "you're such a nerd." :p

  • where can i download this plz reply

  • i mean the music

  • get a youtube to mp3 converter

  • k thanks

  • What does this game require? Half-Life 2? That's it?

  • Half-Life 2 is all you need for it.

  • yes thats all

  • Yeah it requires the best game ever... half life2..... never say thats it? again....... nevaaa :(

  • Any game with the source engine, tf2, portal, hl2 anything.

  • Any game that utillizes the source engine.

  • This song is really good. I listen to death metal and stuff too, but even I find the time to appreciate really nice pieces like this.

I hate to sound like a pussy pacifist, but seriously, just sit back, shut up, and enjoy the damn music. >_>

  • Neotokyo>cs.

  • its good but not that good.

  • cs = tactics

    neotokyo = cool technology

but to me they are equaly fun

  • no just no

CS= Run N Gun, AWP whoring

    NT= Realism, true tacticts

  • try saying tactic while there is 12 people on your team, and not to mention, the awp in nt is way more powerful than the awp in cs, when you compare them to the other weapons in those games...

  • k, but in NT you have to rank up to unlock that more powerful Japanese made AWP....

    hence "AWP whoring" in css...

  • well isn't that even a greater problem then? in cs everyone can have awp, while in nt only the pro can become even better with the awp!!!

  • ... the awp is expensive.

Did you not even think before you wrote that?

  • uhn, no... it takes a maximum of 3 rounds from pistol round to get it... -.- But wait, how many rounds can i wait in NT to get the most overpowered gun that can kill with one shot (while other guns kill with 10), that can only be used by the only class that can see invisible people as easy as seeing fat people at a yoga class -.-'

  • Hey say what you will about assualt, but seeing fat people in a yoga class is about as easy and putting your hand on a hot stove. You can't do it for long or you'll regret it.

  • I play assault all the time, just so you know, but that is only because it is the only class that is usefull! I have tried and tried, but recon just sucks... Support is ok, i guess

  • I have only played recon, ever. I saw the stealth, saw the boost jumping's speed, noticed that backstabs kill instantly, and I'm like "Yep. I've found my class"

It could use a few buffs, but I wouldn't play another class, ever.

  • since the assault is almost as fast as recon and recon doesn't have any good weapons, i just play it sometimes to get a challenge, i mean the competition is this game is just hilarius

  • They're going to remove bunnyhopping for assault and support just FYI. Recon will have a monopoly on speed soon... really I'd rather they just buff the fuck outta recon as per the suggestions I've been putting up, but eh, I guess that will help define roles a little better...

  • Don't say that too loud, I thought that too... Then a recon shot me from a vent in the ceiling :D.

  • yes, but the problem is that an assault can do that as well... : /

  • No, there are special routes in some maps that only the Recon has acces to ;).

  • Like what, 1 or 2, in ALL maps? And even if they can get there doesn't make them any better.

  • Nice analogies.

  • Tactics alway matter in NT. lots of times have i joined an ongoing game where one side is loosing and helped them win by taking a leader role and using my microphone.

  • I prefer NT. The source engine really kiked up a notch and the classes are great. And off course going invisible, and all.

I consider this game to be like Ghost in the Shell the Anime. Awsome Mod.

  • If you watch the trailer it says it was inpsired by ghost in the shell.

  • Sorry, but at cs.

I have a clan and I really use tacticks.

I prefer it rather than AWP whoring and run n gunning. I love just playing as a team.

There are a lot of people that do it tough.

  • really? you decided to be a troll by stating an argument provoking message? every1 has their one right to thoughts so wat makes u think yours are better?

  • I play both. They are two completely different games. Neo is far more serious and tactile, while CSS is more social and fast past ect.

both are amazing games tho ^.^

  • Defiantly Tactile

  • Neo Tokyo is alot teamwork based. its almost impossible to just run out in Neo Tokyo all nitty gritty and expect to do good without your teammates giving you support/watching each others back etc.

  • this is a piece of art and could easily be in a movie or something.

dont listen to those arrogant CS kids man and keep up the good work!

  • This is a Masterpiece! And game kicks so much fucking ass!!!! 5,000,000 / 5!!

  • some nerd with more creativity than you could ever have

  • 5 years in the making by proffesionals, and yaknow what fuck you , i dont see your non-japanese weeabo mod being hyped at all.. so really you dont know shit , your just criticising for the sake of criticising

  • You are very mislead!

  • Comment removed

  • @Jackalofdeath you play cs? buddy, you have no room to call anyone a nerd. Also, i dislike everything wapanese and this mod actually looked good. Hey it's alright though, we were all 15 once, your angst-ridden attitude will pass.

  • Here's some info for you: the rap or death metal that you like to listen to will never be as creative or interesting as music from here.

  • listen to opeth, it may change your mind.

  • IT COMES OUT TOMOROW!!!!!

  • so did i

  • Totally bought this, and I never buy CDs.

  • This is the type of person and music that inspires people to do whatever they have wanted to do ....

  • Bought the CD. Best $11 I'll probably ever spend in terms of value for money.

  • damn straight

  • man this mod looks sweet. i love GitS, and they even have models of the early Tachikomas, and the larger spider tanks

  • I love it, totally fell in love with it! Very good work!

  • best song from Neotokyo. I hope the mod gets released soon, i cant wait.

  • Ed put a lot of his time into the CD, you get 27 tracks for 11$, definately worth the buy

  • Yeah, you all should consider buying this great album.

  • Just bought the album on iTunes. Totally worth the purchase.

Fun and inspirational to play while gaming or pumping out papers, or simply to unwind.

  • I'm buying it as soon as I get my credit card :D

I always loved Ratatat and Godspeed, and Mars Volta, and this is just as good.

  • Just buy the damn soundtrack CD. It's worth the money, believe me.

  • PLEASE POST DEPARTURE.

  • i know right i been looking for it everywhere

  • couldn't you just listen to the trailer in another tab? That's the whole song, I own the OST so i would know. (yeah sure you'll hear the sound effects but what do you expect if you don't want to pay up for the real deal)
