Read this book and weep...with laughter! No, I haven't read this book. But I don't have to read it to know it's a joke. Because I never heard one person's 'revelation' that was worth two shits to anyone else but that person, even when I called myself a christian. Anyone who has to rely on this guy's revelation is selling themselves way short. Save your money.

The acid test of religion and whether you are going to heaven.

Is God working powerfully in ur life, disciplining you when you arent yeilded to him and giving u love joy and peace when you are yielded? Deep down you know. And if you want to go to heaven, ask God to change you, from someone who resists his control of ur life, to someone who embraces it. Heaven is about Gods will and glory, and if you dont want that, u dont want heaven and arent going.

I have read many spiritual books in my time but nothing prepared me for what is written on the pages of this book. This extraordinary story of "The Enlightenment" was told so well that I felt as if God actually manifested his presence to me. Why would anyone readily believe a word Eagen says with out asking for proof? The same reason one would be a Christian when even Jesus couldn't keep his Word.

You might do good to read how Jesus felt about the Pharisees, since it directly corresponds to this situation. Prayers aren't meant to appease God like some kind of Roman god. It should be a personal relationship, and you should be speaking to Jesus, not at Him. BTW::::::That book is a new age book, not a Christian book. A Christian book is not going to directly contradict the Bible so easily and completely. And a quick joke, but you can't know how much infinite really is...can you?

Another example of why it is important to actually READ your Bible instead of just make this stuff up. You don't say prayers AT God, but to God. It should be a conversation, which is why Jesus is a "personal savior." Secondly, the word enlightenment is enough to know you are on the wrong path. The word implies looking into YOU finding the answers...something the Bible has spoken staunchly against since the beginning. Rem: Adam/Eve/apple Our intellect fails to correctly find the TRUTH.

enlightment does not mean u are saved once+for all/is just a glimpse

His words are true so his experience was real(at that moment-he came closer 2 God his prayers added up not as words spoken but as how they helped/strengthened his faith at times

Study what the Bible says about "grace" The Catholic Church teaches "Works Rightousness" We can not repay Christ, .it's a gift.Do you repay your freinds and family for the gifts you got for Christmas?

It completely turned my life around! I am an avid reader of spiritual books. I probably have read everything from The Secret to A New Earth. Believe me there are many books out there from authors who claim they have spoken to God but when you start reading them, you right away get a gut feeling that they are full of it but not this one. I heard about this book from a friend of mine who was struggling with his faith and claimed this book saved his life. I was so impressed with his enlightenment.
