This was the When music was music. When lip syncing was unnecessary. When you came to hear a concert rather than seeing dancing with the stars. When shaking your booty was a song not why people went to see you. When a singer's voice skills mattered. When record labels were picky. When "rap" was just a bubble pop-up on the Batman TV show. When talking wasn't considered singing. ahhh.... the good ole days.
hell yeah, thunder island, what memories from that time in my life, todays music sucks, wished we could bring back the 70s, such a great time and life was so easy back then.
great way to end Sister Golden Hair... those were the days.. just buying a cool car (70 Pontiac GTO ) and going toe class and trying to get the chicks to notice ya!
How lucky were those of us who grew up listening to 70s music. We had the past 60s musicians as well as the future 80s musicians. MY opinion the greatest decade of real! music.Too bad things have changed so much. But great memories for so many millions. How i miss it. the years fly by the music lives forever!! the list of great artist who recorded in that time is endless. Love it!! Brought my kids up on it and they love it too!
It's hard to understand for me, how back then there were plenty of GOOD music in the radio and today it's just CRA.P everywhere. WHERE DID TALENT GO??
For the past 10 or so ears i've been looking for a song my father used to listen to in '75.
He can't remember the artist neither the title, but only that the song started with 3 very powerfull bells rings (like church bells thingy) and then a guitar solo beginned. I already checked ACDC - hells bells, Blue Oyster, Pink Floyd etc. none of the songs they've made is the one. My dad was listening to this song in Poland in '75 so it must be early 70s song!PLEASE HELP
@gisisse as well i wont mind if youll give positive points to this comment so it gets hughlighted and hopefully someone will finaly help me find this song.
For some reason my dad thinks it could be like Led Zeppelin song but we checked 90% of their discography and nothing matches.
This is great but wish you could list the tracks. I was 6 - 15 in the seventies and am now rackin my brain trying to remember who some of these bands are.
!!! What a beautiful collection of good songs .. is a journey through the tunnel of time !!! ... I feel trapped in that time ... thanks for the travel....often I will see your channel.Grettings from South America.
Brilliant composition of music, but then again 70's music is brilliant in itself.
There will never ever be music so alive and enduring as the 70's; the splendor and imagination that lingers in the hearts and minds of those who lived and loved that decade.
