Look bones22j, one can never rant too much over Radiohead. I hadn't even heard these tracks until the last few days, so I'm grateful for the uploads.
Does anyone know when this and Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses et. al. were recorded?
I reckon it makes perfect sense they work in different pairings at different times and can imagine they would work on such as this when they're simply 'hang out'. I think of Jonny and Thom as visionaries most of the time and the others mostly work in response.
This song is beautiful. Go John and Thom. They make such a great team I think. Of course when Radiohead is all together it's amazing beyond words, but John and Thom are like the backbone of the whole band. Just them two make great stuff. I still prefer the whole band though. Nomatter what Thom touches is gonna be ground breaking no matter what so anything I'll be happy with. RANT OVER!!
Like alot of radiohead songs.. on first listen your not sure.. then you liten again and again, and with each listen you become more addicted .. the groweers tend to wind up being my favourites
I agree. When I first started listening to Radiohead (like a year ago) i just thought this: what a f*ck*ng piece of sh*t am i listening to? Now i can´t live without´em. Even the obscure Kid A. When i first heard this song i had mixed feelings, but like 1 hour later i had it on repeat. Loving it. However, there are Radiohead songs that I don´t like, but this isn´t Radiohead, it´s a Thom Yorke song. And I didn´t like too much his first solo record, now he´s doing better.

Don't like this... self indulgent Aphex Twin rip off. 95% of Radiohead/Thom Yorke's work is great, but I don't think his talents sit well enough in electronica.
haven't made up my mind on these tracks yet. this may be something that sounds better live. like spinning plates or idioteque. this is a very bass heavy song as well and this recording doesn't to it justice as far as picking up those lower frequencies. mp3 out in october? i'm there
You don't have to be a pompous fool, "it's called" me expressing my opinion. It's been about twelve years since they've released a proper guitar song; the clicks and beeps get rather tedious after a while.
Then stick back in that age because I doubt its going to go back to that. Does Jigsaw falling into Place count? Because yeah, I wouldn't mind a few more of those.
i always find very hard to have an opinion about a yorke´s/radiohead song when i listen to it for the first time...but this one looks like a combination of amnesiac b-sides and the eraser...
do yourself a favor and listen to this song somewhere else. this was ripped very poorly

it's Jon actually, because it's short for Jonathan, but apart from that, I completely agree.

definitely getting that Aphex Twin vibe off this as well...
I really didn't care for the melody at first listen, also that whole scatter, glitched drumbeat has been a bit overused by them recently.
All this aside, I got a distinct deep feeling from this song, which I think is all Thom really hopes to accomplish.

I like it. But I'm not sure if its poor quality or if thats just part of the song. Its hard to tell with Radiohead.

I love the experimental side of Radiohead, but sometimes I wish they'd just do a traditional "guitar song".
