  • It he is Rain <3 THE BEST <3 I LOVE RAIN !!!!!

  • So! Now I remember this commercial Korea Sparkling 2007 on TV. The K-Pop that I first heard was from this commercial.

  • Handsome Bi.

  • The Girl in the 0.49 shez hawt

  • MR SPARKLE xD

  • I like this video Korea is awosome country and Rain look handsome as ever

  • How is that so many Japs characters are such sneaky & disdainful... from blatant door crashing to sly farting at every Korea video clips, pukin'out their crap temper out of gnawing fear, jealousy.. tsk, tsk

  • cool article about rain on new teen website mixspot.....com coming out of koreatown hood in new york city

  • handsome rain!!; korea is a beautiful country!

  • When I saw it for he first time I didn't even know who is Rain!

  • the best things about korea don't sparkle. they're hidden in dark alleys and covered in dirt.i love that fucking country, but the "sparkling" ad campaign is such a load of bullshit.

  • ur a load of bullshit yourself

  • eat shit. korea is interesting and lovely - but it doesn't sparkle. when was the last time you were there?

  • i never said it wasn't interesting and lovely. Learn how to read will you =____=. My friend went to south korea for a month.

  • then what was your original reason for saying i'm "a load of bullshit myself" then, fruit?

  • ハワイの時、このコマーシャルを見た!

  • 'Korea, Sparkling', the years gold and silver winners at the Adrian Awards

  • rain........ sparkling;)) i love this AD!

  • i love the ad too =)

  • 何度、観てもあきない 韓国へ行きたくなります 最後のキラキラとスパークリングコリアという言葉は不思議な魅力がある センスイイ^^

  • hahahahahahaha they dubbed it, when these commercials first came on he litteraly said "Korea. Sparkering" and i would laugh and laugh and laugh, but now there is a slight hint of L in there

  • ummmm that girl dancing wow 0:48-0:50

  • Best part from 0:53..Ccc

  • korea. sparkering

  • Wow. I wanna go to Korea. It's really developed lately.. Just in the 80's/90's it was still coming out of poverty. Now it's awesome.

  • 화질 끝내주내염...

  • I don't know how this ad got aired in Brazil, but I watched it a few months ago and thought,oh,who's this guy in the end?It was Rain all along hahahaha

  • huhhh..a lill bit confusing me. Why u all arguing each other comparing of japan and korea. I'm Indonesian, and for real I love Japan, China and Korea for their strong character, culture, their technologies,,I think the 3 of them together positioning Asia in the eye of the world..

One thing for sure,,I'll support anything from Asia...

  • to japan2korea. Keep your fuckg comments t yourself lah if you dislike rain, there's alot more of people who loves rain. you faggot!

  • south korea owns samsung, lg, makes best cellphones, ships, trains, n more.

what pisses me off is people thing samsung and lg is owned by japan. dumb fags(to the people who think samsung n lg is owned by japan).

  • and i forgot best b-boys

  • Oh who cares Jap shit. Like are you famous?

  • I didn't think so.

  • That is not true.

Of course, he looks to be more famous in other countrie than in Korea these days,

but he's stil a huge star in Korea.

  • if thats true he wouldnt be in korea sparkling commercial idiot maybe UR just jeaLous or someThing ALL U SPENT IN UR LIFE IS JUST TRASHTALKING BITCH

  • South Korea's IT technology is enormous, too.

  • very nice~

  • korea, sparkaring

  • LOL!!!

  • It's nicely edited that's for sure, but adding this local fag star at the end is just a big mistake. This might work in Korea, but not in Europe. If you make an international campaign let it be made by an international ad agency.

  • I think it works out with Rain in the end.. at least for North American as for myself. Besides, he's not fag. Where do people get this from? Is it because he doesn't have scandles with big boobs?

  • I like the mix of traditional and modern in the ad. (P.S. I'm just dying to go to Korea!!!!!)

  • this video makes me LoL

    shparkuring

  • SPARKRING!

  • KOLEA

    SPAWKURING

  • well people, it depends on how u think, and i thought it was good enough..i mean atleast they won at new york festival, one of the most biggest festival right? nice country...and interessting!!! hehe

  • It's a pretty good tourist ad...a mix of old and new focusing on the natural beauty of Korea. It's too bad though that the catch phrase "Sparkling Korea" is just so ridiculous!!! Soul of Asia was much better when they were using that one. BTW...nobody outside of Korea or the Kyopos know who Rain is. They should have used someone people might actually know like Ban Ki-Moon.

  • Well, if you go to the official tourism website, you can see that there's a point to that new 'catch phrase'. :)

Besides... I have no idea who Ban Ki-Moon is at all. HeheI think that Rain guy does his job well and it's not like a Korean 'celeb' would make me visit Korea anyway. If I visit Korea (and I may. I would like to) it won't be because of a celeb in a video, that's for sure. ;D

  • I would also like to add that Rain is pretty well known outside Korea and not only in Asian countries. He did a tour in america and he's featured as one of the top 100 most influential artist by TIME magazine. He was apparently more influential than J.K.Rowling or George Clooney. I'd say that makes him well known enough for the add.

  • I think he was top 5 in that list.

I remember this comedian guy I forgot his name, complaining in his show saying how rain took away his fame or something.

    but yeah,

rain scored higher than OPRAH for being the mmost influential.

    :O *shock!*

  • YouTube has been always the same and is used by everyone. The different language versions of YT jus ttranslatse the basic content. Not the commentary, profiles, video descrip., etc. The KR version features Korean videos though. Daum, Mncast, etc are better Korean video sites.

  • you re so idiot. i found this ad on english youtube -_-. should we speak in korean even if we don't know ? cause it's korean youtube?

    how foolish

  • why are u fing calling me an idiot? is it that essential and common to not know that Korean YT is not what I think it was? I'm so sorry to death for not being so damn smarter than you do ^^. I just thought Korean Version of YT is based on Korean Internet server and was intended for Korean users who don't speak English. They made announcements that can cause misunderstandinigs like mine through Korean Internet news. No wonder YT is not popular in Korea.

  • i m sorry if it was excessive. but let me remind u that if korean yt is for korean users who don't speak english , they can creat the other site not yt. it's created for everyone , to more people, more foreigner share korean culture , korean pain (like namdaemun). it;s not only for korean. we can't share your culture casue we are not korean and we don;t speak korean? ha! we can;t write english even if we want to comment? it's nonsense

  • its rain

  • the ending makes me LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • OMG SO THE GUY AT THE END IS BI RAIN???????? and I thought he's so hot!!!

  • ahhh i saw this commercial on the history channel (for my 1st & last time it seems) last week! i haven't seen it since even though i've watched commercialz like crazy since. that's wat every1 else keeps saying in diff forumz 2. it's like a legend or something, waiting for it to come on but it never does lmao.

  • lol they should have se7en too! <3 se7en lol

  • Go Korea!!!!!

  • i just saw this commercial on television in america...at first i didnt know what it was, then in the end i saw Rain and realize that i had to check out what this commercial was really about.

  • So did I! I was surprised that Rain was in it in a way... I just wasn't expecting him to be on U.S. television this way. =p It was a very nice surprise, and caused me to look up the commercial since I didn't see all of it. I just looked at it at the start, and then when I heard Rain's voice. I was like what, RAin!?!! AWESOME! So I had to check out the whole cm.

  • I don't get it, EVERY single video of this GREAT commercial is SHIT quality. WHY!? >:( You can't even bloody see the hot guy at the end! >x(

  • If you like Rain please go here to support him "3w" "dot" webcloud "dot" co "dot" kr ... This is a petition for LA Concert Cancellation issue. Thank you! Fighting!!

  • The main part I don't get is the "Korea sparkling" bit. It sounds like Korea is some type of champagne or something... o_O;

    But Bi is cute ^_^

  • but wheres rain(bi)?

  • Coreas sparkling, Dokdo is ours

  • Yes it is, that little rock is closer to Corea and has more Korean history than Japan. Does Japan still lay claim to this rock in the Eastern sea? It's silly if they do.

  • Why do you guys have to politicize something when there is noone saying anything. Personally I do believe Dokdo/Takeshima is yours, but why do you have to bring it up??

  • Its funny cause you just assumed that bixlerscott here talking is a Korean.

  • you do believe Dokdo is korean. than why this argument ? "why do you have to bring it up?? " it's normal that korean island is represented in korean ad. isn't it?

  • korea rocks!

  • I love Korea. I've never been...yet. I hope Mr. Bi is there when I'm there. I'll be sure to give him a big kiss, if he lets me!

  • We recognize our country is small, with few resources. That leads us to be competative only with human resource. We are trying, like you guys do, or more than that as the ones who possess less.

    I love Korea.

  • the air pollution in seoul is bad. but not that bad. i have lived there for more than 20 years. in seoul and big cities, we have amazingly convenient & neat public transportation. you can get to anywhere without a car.

Korea Sparkling. nobody in Korea thinks our develpment rate will be ridiculously increasing. BUT we have been developping our country, and it will be developed gradually, too.

  • that is true this video is deceptive... it is hard to find traditional stuffs in common days besides national holidays like new years day or thanksgiving day.

but the interest about our own culture has been increasing especially among young people since 2004 worldcup, in terms of playing classics with traditional musical instruments, transforming traditional clothes(Han bok) contemporarily, and so on.

  • I lived/worked there for several months and never heard music like that or saw people wearing HANBOK unless I went to a tourist trap. It's deceptive.

  • COOL!! Korea rocks!! and sparkles tooo....Nice stunts...

  • Hey the video pretty good, the idea of old meets new does make sense, but Korea sparkling? Doesn't quite fit I think.

  • bixlerscott

ive been there and i guess your wrong with the pollution they are environmental friendly you know ^^, i don't know about the business there^^ but im sure they are really busy

  • Why the hate? Gotta love korea! They have their own cultural identity and they are proud of it! Love that! KOREA SPARKLING!!!! :D

  • GET A JOB SPARKLING KOREANS

  • speak for urself dude.. wat r u doing on youtube searching up shit bout koreans..y dont u go do something better with urself?

  • Can't say it's sparkling as the environment is very polluted and doing business here is a big big suprise after you done the deal and they decieve you and are suprised that you notice something badly wrong. Pretty cool place explore though. Nothing more. Be advised.

  • Pretty bad ass. Go Korea!!!
