The Taliban is the tribal government of Afghanistan formed after the soviet withdrawal from the country.. They're militants or insurgents in Iraq. And those militants are mostly the minority that was taken out of power and did not take so kindly to it. The rest are weekend jihadists who come to the country to wage holy war for money.
We did not kill civilians. We used precision munitions to assault key political and military leadership. Which we should have used instead.

If the Iraq war will have cost the US taxpayer approx 3 .5 trillion dollars by the time you leave the country (check the estimate if you like - varies between 1-5 trillion), then the cost for every single US citizen will be $10,000 each. @SeeN0More Not really, he believes that America is in the middle east for oil alone, and that we have built giant oil pipelines in order to steal it. He has no proof to support such a claim, and so he is an idiot. Just my opinion, obviously, but I stand by it.

@JPLyokoWarrior al-quada in Arabic means "the base". As a historian I know that the US supported and armed the mujahadeen which after the soviet aghan war became the Taliban. The Pakistani ISI has ties to both extrimist groups and often times funds and arms the Taliban and al-quada

@JPLyokoWarrior I believe Bin laden never found the Taliban but it was created by the Pakistan ISI in 1994. He created the Taliban along with financing of ISI to try to take over the Afghan govt because it wasn't Islamic enough. Ahmed shah Massoud, opposed what bin laden was doing and led the fight against the Taliban. US still offered assistance to the mujahideen cuz the US saw the taliban as an emerging threat. Massoud was very grateful for everything the US was doing to help them.

All I can see is a page, just full of replies of you both... And then, for what? The presidents are not listening to it, and even if they were it wouldn't help much, and You may be saying for me to care about my problems, but man, arguing on Youtube will not Dammn help those who are dying or suffering there!
