@Pakpunjabi4eva Not according to official statistics. Plus, the number of true believers will always be lower. Saudi Arabian *citizens* are 100% Muslim; however, in the statistics, I included the foreign worker population, as the workers are geographically within Saudi Arabia. That pulls the statistic down to 90%.

Yes, you're right. However, most Christians group Catholicism, Protestantism, and Orthodox Christianity into the same, uh... religion. If that's the case, Christianity is still larger. However, it won't be for long if the current trends continue, and many believe that the number of *practicing* Christians is lower than the number of practicing Muslims.

Well, I included foreign workers in the figures. There are a lot of Indians and Filipinos working in Saudi, and they were included in the statistics. 100% of Saudi citizens are Muslim.

Yeah, I don't see the point in inflating statistics. I mean, making the statistics higher doesn't make the number of Muslims higher. Plus, lying is haraam. In any case, the real statistics might actually be lower because some people are only judged as "Muslim" by their names or by their parents.

Really? Well, the exact statistics vary... I got my statistics from a variety of places, so yeah... the CIA World Factbook says it's 85% Catholic and 15% Protestant. I personally believe that a 4% Muslim population is a bit too high because Islam in Latin America is still relatively new and as of 1997, there were only 4 Masjids in Panama.

Really? I've seen sites that say that the number of Muslims in Brazil is only at like 50,000 and others say it is closer to a million. The census taken in 2000 revealed that there were about 27,000 Muslims in Brazil. I haven't seen statistics that are as high as 3 million.

Ah, well, I meant to explain this but I guess I fogot to. All of Saudi Arabia's citizens are Muslim. Though, like many Middle Eastern countries, there is a high population of non-Muslim non-citizens working there. I used the TOTAL (citizen and non-citizen) population figures because I felt that, even though those people are not citizens, they still live in that certain country. That's why the Maldives is not 100% either. There are non-citizen Hindus & Buddhists living on the islands.
