actually when sun jian died all they had left was the imperial seal so zhou yu told sun ce to give it to yuan shu for some troops in order to attack wu province from lui yong
In actual history, a soldier reported something shining in a well and Sun Jian discovered it to be the imperial seal. He took off with it and the first to leave the alliance. He may or may not have wanted to rule, but he sure did has the leadership skills for it. I would want the combination of the virtues of liu bei, the ambition of cao cao, and the leadership of sun jian to be a ruler.
can i ask a question?don't you think that if sun jian was alive, the wu territory would have been conquered earlier, sun ce wouldn't need to borrow soldiers from yuan shu, jing would fall under the banner of wu easily and sun jian's army alone would be able to take cao cao's army?
Sun Jian was under the command of Yuan Shu when he was killed. And I don't think he ever showed signs of wanting to rule, himself. Even so, I doubt Sun Jian could defeat Cao Cao's army, maybe if Yuan Shu's army got involved.
He didn't steal it. I think one of his officers, whose name escapes me, found it in a well, gave it to Sun Jian. Jian then gave it to Yuan Shu because Jian was serving him.
Jian had plenty of chances to leave Yuan Shu, but didn't.
Funny how Sun Jian just pops in out of nowhere and asks for his help, and huang gai's then willing to do absolutely anything for the "Glory of Wu" How fun.
there is no more Sun Jian in battle of Chi Bi he already ddead

it was sun ce that found the seal in a well

I'm pretty sure it wasn't. Sun Ce was never in posession of the seal. Jian gave it straight to Yuan Shu.

It's funny how every time Huang Gai finishes a sentence with the word nothing, he puts his shield up!
