If Vrykul we're a playable Race(Share your thoughts)

I'd say no to paladin as they've no real light based roots. You could pull of shamans and mages as they already are somewhat elemental

but if you guys read the book they cant go with horde because in the beginning of the shattering cairne goes up to northrend to escort garrosh and some other major horde chars to head back and are attacked by vyrkul so i doubt garrosh would look to well upon them but on the other hand they do hat humans so maybe another nuetral but hey also were getting fucking pandas so why care....

They could also recreate the Nathrezim or (the cunning demons) as if they have no leader and not able to fly anymore and that they have decided to join the Horde as playable race to become the equivalent enemy of the Draenei.

I thing is a good idea if the wow team could make the giant or Vrykul as playable character, they should done that within the Cataclysm Expansion and instead of continuo with the blood elf they should make the Ogre take their place, as if the blood elf have betrayed the Horde so they could join the Night Elf to become one race.

If Vrykul was a race they should add new class class:Viking and they should be able to be a Warrior, Shaman, Warlock, Mage, Pally, Deathknight and hunter.

I like the idea of Vrykuls, but i dont think it has enough classes, you could add Shaman, and then Blizzard could throw in a new class, Rune Keeper... now when i think about it, it might work. I also think the ressurection thing is like Reincarnation, so i agree with NNandPPproductions on the 3min cd shout.

Great idea, the choice, but there is a certian problem. Communication. SHould those who choose the Horde speak Orcish as well as common for the ALliance? And what about their native languages? :o). Would be awsome though x)

RIght lets see. Some of the Vrykul had 'weak'children, and hid them far away from the clans, as seen in the Howling Fjord in a vision of the past, but some also cared for them. Those caring ones should be the playable ones, and then Blizz could make Ogres for the Horde, or Half Ogres like Rexxar

Vrykuls would not be Paladins, Paladins are those who have belief in the Light ( In General ). This is the religion that the Humans took up years and years after they turned into Humans from being Vrykul, before they used to worship The Pantheon/Titans.

For this Mists of Panderia, I really truly do believe that Vrykul will be the next Alliance race. It fits well, and the Alliance seem to be much more forgiving with hatred than the Horde. Plus, only humans hate Vrykul. In exchange though, I believe Horde will promptly receive Ogres, the race that has be lurking beside them forever. It really fits, for they both are giants and have a decent amount of class lore behind them. Though many other races could easily fit, I think this is the one to go.

The Vrykul are under the influence of the Lich King. He is the reason they awoke in the first place. They are convinced all other races are a plague upon the world and thus do not trust any of them.

Nice idea tought, but 1 hour cooldown racials just aint good idea.. whatabout AoE fear with 3min cd? Like an other intimiaditing shout? And imo, Vrykuls to alliance, Ogre/Forest trolls to horde, since they already have few ogres in their armies. And forest trolls belong to Horde before, right? Vrykuls also need Warlock, Mage and Shaman classes.

@stupidinternetman999 Not meant to be a hate, more of a disagreement. Not all would go to the Horde. The vrykul could have the same wonders that the dwarves do about their race, as seen in Ulduar and the instances in the Storm Peaks (titans, old gods, all that good stuff.) They have that link to them in that sense, along with being related to the humans.

I like wow, but the thing that bugs me is that no playable race fits me right, they are either too short, too big, too weird animations etc. Ever since wotlk came with vrykuls Ive wanted to play as one, it fits me perfectly. Typical they made it a creature instead of a playable race..

Vrykuls should be a playable race, they can join the horde, because of the hatred to the humans, you'll start in northend, near Utgarde, classes should be: Hunter, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior

It would be awsome to play. however, They would NOT be Alliance. Yes they are the Root race of the human existance, but they disguarded their human offspring for being "weak and ugly". They are a little more likely to be Horde, however, I dont infact think they should. my opinion? a 3rd faction with vrykul as a playable race? scourge perhaps?

Dude, I completely agree with you... I definitely would like to see Vrykul as playable race. I mean, for one they are Nordic-like people... and if there is anything in games that I like... then it's Norse mythology. Plus, Blizzard made models for Vrykul so badass that they look awesome.

They need atleast to come close to matching Humans classes. Seeing as blizzard is keeping nearly all of the races a match...Orcs got all but one race. Humans got all but one. Ect...so Vrukul need an equal and a counter to balance the horde / allliance
