@TheManWithNoShadow this is absolutely correct, what both of you say, of course settling comes from your feet and knees, but if you are in downswing, the characteristic part of waltz, then this might look like "going down with the body" , but, technically it is just knee-bending an using the foot musculature to use the force of gravity and the motion energy to create this pendulum effect ;)
