I remember this all too well. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away from the same kind of cancer right around the time this storyline started back in 1992.

This is when Days was so good you went nuts if you missed a day! I remember rushing home during this storyline- completely entranced. So sad!

When DOOL brought back Carly they should have brought back IzzyB from the dead. She was the Pacemaker on DOOL and a forgiving person.

** DOOL made great storylines back then, but today they make nothing but crap !

I never saw John and Isabella since I began watching after she died, but why did they kill off such a sweet character? I wish they could bring her back.

@ShiniRyuk Staci didn't renew her contract with the show. She said in an interview that she wanted to pursue writing.

Wow!! Now that's what they need back on the show. Powerful, moving, realistic down to earth storylines portrayed by powerful, extremely talented actors. Why can't Corday and his other producers convince Staci to come back and do double duty.......write the scripts and come back on screen as Isabella's "twin"? If that happened, I'd watch the show again!!
