The GH1 has its limits in low light situations with the slow f4 14-140mm kit lens. But if you put a Canon FD adapter and a Canon FD 50mm f1.4 lens on it Its quite good in lowlight. In fact with the new custom hack firmware from tester13 the footage is excellent now it has native 24p 1080p at 50Mbits a second which trumps even the Canon 5D. Still Photo's same thing applies its the lens that makes a good picture not the camera. People need to stop comparing canons with £2k lens to GH1+ kit lens.

@TheCSNya It's just how well the GH-1 can work with some lens in low light. Put a fast lens on would help. Canon is better in low light but they have thier own problems with Aliasing and moire issues.

How can people dis this video when its a no budget film on a Dslr quickly shot in one day. Dont compare this to big budget red one camera shots. I think for what it is and the equipment used, a great piece of work. Well done and thanks for posting this to give us a good idea of how the GH1 performs in low.

@adey7569 I do not have a problem with the video I tried to point out to another youtuber that GH-1 has it's limits in low light. People that do not know about photography will never get it.

The good thing about the GH-1 you can buy adapters and put almost any lens on it.

Um, first of all I AM A DIRECTOR. As for "acting" YES reactions of the "actors" that are not speaking counts as "acting"

Secondly I said nothing about the stunts (which were okay, but still need to be tightened up in edtiting) The Editing was not all that good but can be fixed.

Good Concept but a little rought around the edges, thats my opinion. Dont know if this is a rough copy but you heard someone say action in the begining.
