um... wait. This was the rpg? But, so, why is it a third person shooter? Were the developers unaware what an rpg is?

Now that I know it was a shooter, I am officially disappointed it was cancelled. Especially since I really liked the stalker alien and the red/black aliens thing they took from the comics.

in my humble opinion, I think that an Alien RPG sound too good to be true. Evidently, it is...for now anyways. I can't think of another horror-based RPG off the top of my head. Imagine, something even half as epic as Mass Effect but freaky and set in the Alien/Aliens universe. Well anyways...good news lately about Colonial Marines...finally!!!! In the end, i sure hope it's been worth the longgg wait. Hope they don't kill the game tension with corny, over-the-top boss battles.

Maybe with AVP's sales being good enough to call for a sequal, maybe after the sequal has come out and sold enough sega will continue work on this and Aliens: Colonial Marines

Now that AVP (new one) received crap reviews, shows Sega what fans want. Mass Effect 2 (an RPG) just had the highest sales in January for a game.

Man, I woulda loved to play this. Sure the gameplay looks suspiciously like Mass Effect (not nessiarily a bad thing) and they kinda went overboard with the darkness, but they seem to have the atmosphere down pat. SEGA, GET THIS PROJECT GOING AGAIN! WE HAVE MONEY WE WANT TO SPEND!

Obviously, you didnt play Mass Effect, because this look much alike and ME is a great RPG. There is many kinds of RPGs. I bet there was even the stop mode implemented, where you can give orders to your group members, like in ME or Dragon Age.
