Mitt Romney is a man of real integrity and character and the more I learn about him the more impressed I am. And this scares the HELL out of his competitors especially the Obama camp! Some claim he is weak, whatever, there are always, ALWAYS naysayers but truly he has the greatest track record of ANY politician or businessman I have ever been aware of. He talks about speaking for people "of all faiths" but he never mentions people 'of no faith'. Since he agrees that government should not be influenced by religion I agree with magichandpuppet that an atheist leader is the best leader for a government. This is the strongest separation of church and state. Remember, separating church and state protects ALL religions (and no religions). Christian fundamentalists rant like fascists which scares me silly.

You are assuming that Romney is a fundamentalist, or at least seem to be assuming that (if not sry). But most Christians interpret a 'faith' as a system of beliefs, which includes Atheism.

Sorry, but atheism is NOT a faith. It's the lack of faith. Faith means to believe in something that has not been proven true. If it were 'true' you wouldn't need to have faith in it! For example, one can have faith that stocks will go up tomorrow but they don't KNOW it to be true.

I don't 'believe' in atheism (even though I am an atheist). Instead, I demand evidence before I believe in anything. Atheists will not recognize god (or gods) until there is proof of their existence.

I actually agree with Mitt in this speech. However, we would be safer to have a president who is atheist. Then, we would only have to be concerned with their integrity and ability to reason and make logical decisions.

Is not atheisism a form of religion? They are groups of people with causes right? A mormon would be better than a baptist (Huckabee) why? because they don't try to impose that religion who don't care to accept it. (Mormon's believe all are saved from death) Baptists believe if you don't you will go to Hell with the devil and his angels..Mormons belief is much nicer and kinder to all faiths.

I am Mormon in Missouri, and I am voting for Ron Paul. Mit is for War, he is for the Empire, his is a politician after the evil ways of the Greek/Roman/Feudalist system of top down control.
