To elaborate on yousoh's statement about the language, if you look it up on Wikipedia or more scholarly sites, their language is a Champa derivative called Tsat, which is interesting because it is the only Malayo-Polynesian language to be tonal, probably due to influence of Chinese. If you look at other languages in this family (Melayu, Tagalog, Cham, many Pacific Islander languages), they are all solidly nontonal.
Nice to meet you too. I will certainly visit you page and listen to Music. I am interested in anything that relates to our culture and heritage, thank you.
Yes, Kauthara they are speaking Cham, you may find it difficult to understand. Me too, I couldn't understand them, only if they speak slowly and can only pick up on certain word. The Cham language that they speak here, somehow mixed with local dialect and accent changed as well, therefore find it difficult to understand.
The woman speaks Cham. On Hainan Island this Cham language is called Tsat. Our Cham people there, they do speak Cham fluently, due to the influence of the local dialects, some words have changed and or the accents. If you listen carefully to the woman in this video, you will be able to pick up some words there. Try again, good luck.
@Kauthara what the fuck. some dirty cham losers fled to hainan after losing the war to the invader viet monkeys. and now u claim Hainan belongs to u cham ppl. that's totally ridiculous. plz learn a little bit of history about hainan before making silly comments here.
@ChineseSlaves I never claimed Hainan belonged to Champa. I appreciate it if you stopped calling Cham ppl dirty and Viet ppl monkeys. I disrespected no one and here you are name calling. Check yourself.
"Hainan should be Cham country" is what you said. Now, I am not defending ChineseSlaves's racist statement, but I am just pointing out that you misrepresented your original statement here. Plus, I doubt the Li (Hlai) and Miao (Hmong) people who live there would agree, not to mention the Han.
By the way, I am fully in support of Cham people practicing their own customs and culture and speaking their own language. I am just against political secession and the break up of China.

Wow this is cool thanks for sharing the video.
Hainan Island should be a Cham country =) But I doubt China will cede any independence to their outer territories. Just look at Taiwan and Tibet =(
