@realisticHomeboy Yes, it uses a regular pinball tilt sensor to send signal to ipac where tilt is mapped in visual pinball. I would recommend using a microsoft tilt joystick instead though.
Where do you live? I wan to come over and be your best friend!! Ha.. This might be one of the greatest things I have seen in a while. I currently Own an Indiana Jones Pin, but was looking to add more to my collection, This would be perfect. How much do you think you have invested in this? Thanks.
@eldermga The software is free. Just google it. Virtual Pinball, Visual Pinball, Future Pinball. There are version both for desktop, and for setups like the one in the video. All free.
Hi Sir , could you please give me the exact dimensions of your pinball machine . Expecially the width of the cabinet , the backbox and the lockdown bar .
@cathou12341 Google mameman and visual pinball plans, I believe I adapted his plans for this. It's based on a pinball widebody, anything smaller you can't fit a 42 inch playfield
No hyperbole here: this is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I've always wanted a pinball machine, I might go this route instead. Amazing, amazing work.
Out of curiosity, how is it that the external lights, such as the start buttons, etc. know when to light up? Is there some special interface between them and the PC that says "OK, light up now?"
That's exactly how I imagined I'd do mine! I'd love to see a video with the PC sound turned off to hear all those solonoids firing along with the simulation!
@bjbowman045 Solenoids are harder then the contactors that some people use to create the force feedback for flippers and slingshot etc, I only say this because the contactors draw less than 500 mA which the LEDWiZ can handle on an output port. The solenoids draw about 3 amps every time they fire, so they need to be on a seperate circuit from the LEDWIZ so you have to use relays.
Looks great, I am following your Hyperpin Forum posts. Going to start my build in a couple months. Is it hard to set up the solenoids to work with LEDWIZ?
Is there a nudge sensor, that produces an accurate nudge, depending on how hard, and what direction, you nudge the table?

Very nice. So much work put into it. Do you have your table monitor connected via hdmi? And if so do you have some lag/delay when playing?
hogcia66 1 month ago
@hogcia66 No lag, I use HDMI cables except for the PC monitor which is the DMD, that uses DVI

@ShutterBun2 It runs off a ledwiz, there is some visual basic scripts that work with VP. You can find it all on hyperspin-fe

It's an older Westinghouse LCD, I'll have to check on the exact model. I used an old TV I had, you probably can't purchase this one anymore.
Main thing is to find a 1080P TV with 1:1 pixel mapping if possible.

What model is the 42" TV?
