The devil does not impress me. . . The body of Christ needs to get hungry for Jesus. If you focus to much on what satan can do, than what God can do. . you will miss the annointing. . .Your making satan bigger than your God. God has called this generation to see Him. This revival is truly from God. Todd has confessed so many time that ALL he wants is Jesus! People are getting hungry and starved for the annointing.
God is such a BIG God. Like i said before. . . YES we need to be careful and test the spirits. But when you spend time with your savior in your private time, you feel him, taste Him, and can touch Him. You know God when He comes. . . its like a wonderful blanket wrapping around ya. . its called His wonderful "LOVE" I could feel it all over Todd when He prayed for me. . He is going along with the scriptures, and God is using Him to heal the sick. :) I give God all the glory. And i bless Todd.

You see, when we preach on convicting of sins, bringing confession and repentance. . . we are teaching on how to get outta your problems and sins. Well after that you have the teaching on "LETS JUST GO AFTER GOD now that we are FREE!" once your outta that sin. haha You can go to NEW levels in the spririt. So many Christians need to get outta that "Oh God im so sorry" after they have already asked for forgiveness. . God is saying "Get up! lets run this race! :) I need you beside me son/daughter!

According to what the Bible says, Todd does not abide in Jesus. How then can he lead others in being an example of someone who is looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith?
My friend he has preached on that many times at the revival on GodTV. But He said in another one of His vids that He is gotten past the equipping stage. And now its time for harvest. Ive seen so many people get saved at these meetings. And Learn that Jesus Died for there sins. When you preach on forgivness of sins and convicting of sins thats good yes. BUT thats all equippiping. He is in the teaching of the supernatural, and revivalists.

This revival does this in the NAME OF JESUS. They lift HIS name up...no other name. He is not claiming to be God or the source of the miracles. What did Jesus say to the Pharisees when they saw him casting out demons? Akingdom cannot stand if it be divided. If Jesus would have been casting them out by the power of satan, satan would have been working AGAINST himself. Yeah This is done in Jesus name:) Shalom and God bless.

This truly is a move of God: though, like babies it may be a little messy at first. When babies are born they have mucus and blood all over them. Even after they clean them up and send them home, the parents still have to clean up after its mess (vomiting and pooping). This revival may still be in the infant stage, but don't kill it just because it is a little unorganized or messy. But I assure you: we will need this anointing to face what is about to come... Take refuge in his presence!
Ok guys. I appreciate every comment on here... many apinions. . but when people watch this video i want them to be encouraged with the Love of Jesus. He is truly moving down in lakeland. There is a shockwave of Gods presence booming thru america! Revival is spreading thru the churches of america! So pls dont argue. Everyone has there way of the way they see God. And "NO" i dont really agree with some of them. All i know is that Jesus is showing himself like ive never seen in lakeland.

Todd Bentley does not abide in, nor does he preach the doctrine of Christ. This "revival" is not from Jesus; test the spirits.
This is my view on testing the spirits and discernement. Its good! its not a bad thing. . . BUT they are much needed when you first become a Christian. Every child needs to know that when they put there hand on the stove its gonna hurt. But when they grow older they know that it is a hot stove. Same thing with the body of Christ. They need to learn yes. . . but when they spend time loving on Jesus in there private time they mature and know what God truly feels like and how his heart beats.

Why do you call me "blasphemous?" You must not know the Lord Jesus, for you have no love for me; you slander my name in order to "be right" rather than to "be right with me"(1 Peter 3:16). A mark of a true Christian is their love for each other; their gentleness and tender mercies, as they would lead me back to Jesus patiently and compassionately; if that's what your trying to do.. And if they still do not turn, you would love me as Jesus loved Judas and still wash my feet!
Hypocrisy does give Christians a bad name because Christains claim to believe in a God of love; but Christians don't love each other; only if they believe in the same doctrine and practices. Let God's word define truth. I can find scripture to support anything you think is "blasphemous." Is. 56:10 reveals that when ppl bark like dogs, that the watchmen have returned- the prophets have returned to their posts... can you find one scripture that proves that acting that way is blasphemous?

Because loving your neighbor as yourself is under the old law/Mosaic Law. While the old law is good, it was replaced by the New Law/Christ's Law/Law of Grace. Galations is a book that articulates Paul's argument that if you live under the old law, Christ is worthless to you. when charismatics say "drunk" they are refering to "being filled with the Spirit." In Acts 1 people thought the desciples were drunk-but they weren't, they were filled with the Spirit. When people get "filled with the Spirit" they sometimes laugh, fall, or speak in tongues of men or angels. Its because God's glory is so heavy they fall, so amazing they can't use their own tongue to express it, so joyous the laugh. My friends call me that because I am always "under the influence of the Spirit."
Go see for yourself if God is moving there Forget about the man if it bothers you. God does not use demons and false prophets to heal people. Go see if people are not giving their lives to Christ by the dozens each night. And that they are not worshipping God for hours before the cameras come on. And that people are getting out of wheelchairs when Todd is no where near them. See if God doesn't get the glory for it all. I saw it!!! HE DOES!!

Also, when one is drunk off the wine of the world they do things that they usually wouldn't do (in a negative way)... when one is filled with the Holy Spirit there is an extra freedom from the fear of man and a joy that is so much greater than the shallow happiness that can come from alcohol... When a farmer harvested his crops he would often drink the wine of his fruit, on the day of Pentecost(first fruits), they were occused of being drunk but in reality they were full of the Sprit.
Just typing that last response I felt the Sprit of God wanted me to tell you (exilewith444) that God loves you sooo much.. He wants to wrap you with so much heavy weighty love.. He fashioned you in the womb and has great plans for your life...
The drunken glory that I receive makes it so much easier to say no to sin and my love for others becomes enlarged... All I want to do is talk about God and share Him with others... I love praying for people and leading them to Christ.....
In Acts 2 in the Bible God sent the Holy Spirit on the day of pentecost. They acted in such a way that

Still doesn't seem like we should say that we are 'drunk' in the spirit. They thought that everyone was drunk because they were all speaking in totally different languages. I wouldn't go as far as saying that they were running around laughing histeracally throwing their shoes around and dancing. Not to mention the times in revival where people run around like there a cow, or a dog, or a chicken.... why would God have someone do that?
I don't know why God would have someone do that, but Psalms 135:6 says "The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths." The real issue is the fruit that comes from the encounter. Are people falling more in love with Jesus when they fall over?
Amen, I agree that their needs to be fruit. Unfortunately though people make revival about 'falling over'. And many people don't consider themselves receiving the Holy Spirit or reaching a breakthrough UNLESS they 'fall over'. Which is nonsense
I went to Toronto during the outpouring there. I fell over and "crunched" in the spirit and shook. I was somewhat embarrassed by the manifestation but the presence of the Lord was wonderful. I still think back on those times as major turning points in my relationship with the Lord. I wouldn't trade them for my dignity. Also, I have been watching the Florida healing revival since the beginning. I have seen people repent, be healed, be saved and testify of Jesus. That's good fruit.
Why would the Lord deliberately humiliate His children? Let me put it this way...What kind of earthly father would such be if that earthly father deliberately did things to shame his kids?
Don't think of it in terms of God was making them do it; but that they were so free to love their God that they didn't care how they expressed it. I know the Rhema is the word of God that is given in revelation form to man,Logos is the actual written word.God loves us and requires that we act a certain way towards him, and if we are to call ourselves his children.Jesus never purposely offended anyone,he knew they would be offended buthe did not do things for that purpose only,he is not spiteful.God is never contrary to his word!I have been a supporter of this movement, but I have had "Rhema" of my own from God on it also one word- fleshy.
It is blasphemous and we should not conform to the world...as per Romans 12. We are commanded to "think" or rather test the spirits in I John 4 (Which is a commandment many are breaking deliberately)
Actually it's the perfect description, in fact the Bible commands us to 'be filled with the Spirit' as opposed to being drunk on wine The verb there 'be filled' is continuous also, meaning we shouldn't just have an experience, but continually be filled with the Spirit to such a degree that it can be compared to being drunk (Ephesians 5:18)! Personally, I would love it if I could entirely humble myself and allow God complete control, as drunkards allow alcohol to take control!
When I was younger, I was bound by religious devils that blocked the anointing. Whenever God manifested powerfully I mistook discernment with a critical judging spirit that blocked experiencing the glory. Just as the Pharisees of old, I thought it was all of the devil... Please give God a chance and experience the sweetnes that is coming from these meetings!! Once you have tasted revial you will never go back!!
God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are always true and in alignment to what the Bible says.
It is wise not to be quick in assuming that this or any revival is of God. We are in a spiritual war that is serious and the enemy is very deceptive. Remember the enemy disguises himself as an angel of light.
Be watchful and test what you see and hear according to what the Bible says.
Is this drunken glory inspiring you and others to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus, or is it moreso inspiring you to come back and get more drunken glory when the previous glory fades away?

Amen SteveMJ- this is a true move of God ! I was getting so hungry when watching on GodTV, that i had to come get some, and you know what it blessed me so much, Todd prayed over me several times and the glory was very strong ! I stayed for a week, and i wanna go back as soon as possible.
It is entirely possible that God could have nothing to do with this revival. I fear that people will be deceived. Is God REALLY at the center of this? Or is God greiving over this because of where the focus and attention is?
I dont really get it. . . how could people getting healed, drug addicts being set free, people that have been in wheel-chairs all there life be not of God? is it satan healing them? i think not. haha God is moving in this. People are hungry to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to others, total strangers. People are getting saved and coming to Christ and getting a hunger to read there bibles like never before. . . how is that NOT God?
Yeah, after much though and asking of others, I have concluded that it couldn't be Satan. I just don't like the focus being on that specific location, and if you want a taste of revival, go to Lakeland. If you want a taste of revival, it must first happen in your heart, not visiting a place that is all hyped up. God may be moving, but I believe there is a lot of flesh that is mixed in with it, which causes the focus to turn away from God. That's my fear. It's all about Christ, not Todd Bently
Plus revival is more than just God healing people, it's about repentence. And to be honest, I haven't seen or heard even the slightest hint of repentence with this revival. If God is moving, then there should be sorrow for our sin and the sin of this country. Again, repentence begins in our heart, not in Lakeland Florida
bsquire3 - get over yourself - stop trying to tell God how he should move on HIS people. When was the last time you led someone to the Lord? Even if 5 of the claimed converstions are real it it probably 5 times more than you this year? Press in to God and focus on the Harvest!
2. It's not about when was the last time you lead someone to the Lord, it's when is the last time you spoke with someone about Christ, or were a witness to Him. I can't convince people to serve Christ. HE saves them, not me. I am a witness, and I will continue to be one. This is not a sales campaign on who leads more to Christ.... get your focus straight.
that's right, you can't convince no one only the spirit of Jesus can. Perhaps if you allow jesus to move in you and die to self you can preach the good news. Help solve the problem=)
Also, I'm sorry if all I am doing is testing the spirits. Too many people jump to conclusions and don't even test the spirits. Don't take everything for granted. Scripture commands us to test the spirits, and to be careful of false prophets. MANY will be deceived. The True art of deception is this: You don't know if you've been deceived. If people take everything so lightly and don't test the waters and not cautious, then we're in danger. "My people perish for a lack of knowledge"
I agree with you my friend. But. . sorrow and sin come first when you spend time in this revival if your not right with God. But guess what comes after the sorrow and sins? haha JOY! :D Many of the people here are not saved, and they are getting saved. Then comes the JOY and the Glory of the Lord. Everything you can think of is happening here in this revival when it comes to JESUS! haha Repentance is happening. People are getting saved, and then there getting filled! :) We all need that. :)
Heh! Satan can't heal people! Its impossible! Remeber people, Todd has just allowed God to work through him, if other people would do this as well, we'd be havind revivals all over. Pray that people with spirituall gifts of healing and teaching will be filled with the holy spirit and will stand up and display Gods wonders.

This revival does this in the NAME OF JESUS. They lift HIS name up...no other name. He is not claiming to be God or the source of the miracles. What did Jesus say to the Pharisees when they saw him casting out demons? Akingdom cannot stand if it be divided. This truly is a move of God: though, like babies it may be a little messy at first. When babies are born they have mucus and blood all over them. Even after they clean them up and send them home, the parents still have to clean up after its mess (vomiting and pooping). This revival may still be in the infant stage, but don't kill it just because it is a little unorganized or messy. But I assure you: we will need this anointing to face what is about to come... Take refuge in his presence!

Ok guys. I appreciate every comment on here... many apinions. . but when people watch this video i want them to be encouraged with the Love of Jesus. He is truly moving down in lakeland. There is a shockwave of Gods presence booming thru america! Revival is spreading thru the churches of america! So pls dont argue. Everyone has there way of the way they see God. And "NO" i dont really agree with some of them. All i know is that Jesus is showing himself like ive never seen in lakeland.

Todd Bentley does not abide in, nor does he preach the doctrine of Christ. This "revival" is not from Jesus; test the spirits.

This is my view on testing the spirits and discernement. Its good! its not a bad thing. . . BUT they are much needed when you first become a Christian. Every child needs to know that when they put there hand on the stove its gonna hurt. But when they grow older they know that it is a hot stove. Same thing with the body of Christ. They need to learn yes. . . but when they spend time loving on Jesus in there private time they mature and know what God truly feels like and how his heart beats.

Hypocrisy does give Christians a bad name because Christains claim to believe in a God of love; but Christians don't love each other; only if they believe in the same doctrine and practices. Sadly we have become lovers of ourselves rather than lovers of God and man. Perhaps if we stopped passing judgment on each other and began encouraging each other towards righteousness rather than to be like ourselves, we would become so humble that there is no flesh left to take offense in what another says.

The fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness.. Peace is one form we can experience, but it is not everything. Please do not base truth off of experience. This is very dangerous. Let God's word define truth. I can find scripture to support anything you think is "blasphemous." Is. 56:10 reveals that when ppl bark like dogs, that the watchmen have returned- the prophets have returned to their posts... can you find one scripture that proves that acting that way is blasphemous?

Because loving your neighbor as yourself is under the old law/Mosaic Law. While the old law is good, it was replaced by the New Law/Christ's Law/Law of Grace. Galations is a book that articulates Paul's argument that if you live under the old law, Christ is worthless to you. This is why at the last meal with Jesus and his disciples he said "a new commandment I give you..." (John 13:34). We are to love ea. other greater than we love ourselves- love as Christ loved.

Dear Bro thecucumber360, slandering is the nature of a pharisee and a scribe. They refuse to hear the truth that we have to lay down our lives in fulfilment of the old covenant. By remaining faithful to the old law the pharisee tries to keep us under bondage. I will say this: we can all escape sin and our flesh and no longer be fleshly! Through the spirit we no loner have to sin because our default has changed. Though, our minds continually need to be renewed. We tend to view the world through our own experience and beliefs. This is what must be challenged continually. Otherwise we can not go from glory to glory. We don't have to have it all figured out- just trust in him. As for me, I will "drink in the Lord" and dwell in his presence. (Psalm 91).

when charismatics say "drunk" they are refering to "being filled with the Spirit." In Acts 1 people thought the desciples were drunk-but they weren't, they were filled with the Spirit. When people get "filled with the Spirit" they sometimes laugh, fall, or speak in tongues of men or angels. Its because God's glory is so heavy they fall, so amazing they can't use their own tongue to express it, so joyous the laugh. My friends call me that because I am always "under the influence of the Spirit."

Go see for yourself if God is moving there Forget about the man if it bothers you. God does not use demons and false prophets to heal people. Go see if people are not giving their lives to Christ by the dozens each night. And that they are not worshipping God for hours before the cameras come on. And that people are getting out of wheelchairs when Todd is no where near them. See if God doesn't get the glory for it all. I saw it!!! HE DOES!!

Also, when one is drunk off the wine of the world they do things that they usually wouldn't do (in a negative way)... when one is filled with the Holy Spirit there is an extra freedom from the fear of man and a joy that is so much greater than the shallow happiness that can come from alcohol... When a farmer harvested his crops he would often drink the wine of his fruit, on the day of Pentecost(first fruits), they were occused of being drunk but in reality they were full of the Sprit.

Still doesn't seem like we should say that we are 'drunk' in the spirit. They thought that everyone was drunk because they were all speaking in totally different languages. I wouldn't go as far as saying that they were running around laughing histeracally throwing their shoes around and dancing. Not to mention the times in revival where people run around like there a cow, or a dog, or a chicken.... why would God have someone do that?

I don't know why God would have someone do that, but Psalms 135:6 says "The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths." The real issue is the fruit that comes from the encounter. Are people falling more in love with Jesus when they fall over?

I went to Toronto during the outpouring there. I fell over and "crunched" in the spirit and shook. I was somewhat embarrassed by the manifestation but the presence of the Lord was wonderful. I still think back on those times as major turning points in my relationship with the Lord. I wouldn't trade them for my dignity. Also, I have been watching the Florida healing revival since the beginning. I have seen people repent, be healed, be saved and testify of Jesus. That's good fruit.

Don't think of it in terms of God was making them do it; but that they were so free to love their God that they didn't care how they expressed it. However, you can't understand it rationally or intellectionally (1 Cor 2:14-15). It is the demonstration or manifestation of the Spirit (1 Cor 2:4-5). Jesus says, "come to me and drink." Not come to me and 'think' (John 7). People use terms and gestures like drunk, toking the ghost, & snorting the Bible to offend the religious and reach the lost.

understand there is a difference between the words on the page and the words from his lips (Rhema and Logos). we can only love him and respect him with the love and respect we recieve from him-we can't give it if we aint recieving it. God is not so rigid, but more childlike and playful. Jesus always offended the religious and the demons. I know the Rhema is the word of God that is given in revelation form to man,Logos is the actual written word.God loves us and requires that we act a certain way towards him, and if we are to call ourselves his children.Jesus never purposely offended anyone,he knew they would be offended buthe did not do things for that purpose only,he is not spiteful.God is never contrary to his word!I have been a supporter of this movement, but I have had "Rhema" of my own from God on it also one word- fleshy.

Actually it's the perfect description, in fact the Bible commands us to 'be filled with the Spirit' as opposed to being drunk on wine The verb there 'be filled' is continuous also, meaning we shouldn't just have an experience, but continually be filled with the Spirit to such a degree that it can be compared to being drunk (Ephesians 5:18)! Personally, I would love it if I could entirely humble myself and allow God complete control, as drunkards allow alcohol to take control!

When I was younger, I was bound by religious devils that blocked the anointing. Whenever God manifested powerfully I mistook discernment with a critical judging spirit that blocked experiencing the glory. Just as the Pharisees of old, I thought it was all of the devil... Please give God a chance and experience the sweetnes that is coming from these meetings!! Once you have tasted revial you will never go back!!

God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are always true and in alignment to what the Bible says.
It is wise not to be quick in assuming that this or any revival is of God. We are in a spiritual war that is serious and the enemy is very deceptive. Remember the enemy disguises himself as an angel of light.
Be watchful and test what you see and hear according to what the Bible says.

It is entirely possible that God could have nothing to do with this revival. I fear that people will be deceived. Is God REALLY at the center of this? Or is God greiving over this because of where the focus and attention is?

Yeah, after much though and asking of others, I have concluded that it couldn't be Satan. I just don't like the focus being on that specific location, and if you want a taste of revival, go to Lakeland. If you want a taste of revival, it must first happen in your heart, not visiting a place that is all hyped up. God may be moving, but I believe there is a lot of flesh that is mixed in with it, which causes the focus to turn away from God. That's my fear. It's all about Christ, not Todd Bently

Plus revival is more than just God healing people, it's about repentence. And to be honest, I haven't seen or heard even the slightest hint of repentence with this revival. If God is moving, then there should be sorrow for our sin and the sin of this country. Again, repentence begins in our heart, not in Lakeland Florida

Also, I'm sorry if all I am doing is testing the spirits. Too many people jump to conclusions and don't even test the spirits. Don't take everything for granted. Scripture commands us to test the spirits, and to be careful of false prophets. MANY will be deceived. The True art of deception is this: You don't know if you've been deceived. If people take everything so lightly and don't test the waters and not cautious, then we're in danger. "My people perish for a lack of knowledge"

But guess what comes after the sorrow and sins? haha JOY! :D Many of the people here are not saved, and they are getting saved. Then comes the JOY and the Glory of the Lord. Everything you can think of is happening here in this revival when it comes to JESUS! haha Repentance is happening. People are getting saved, and then there getting filled! :) We all need that. :)

Heh! Satan can't heal people! Its impossible! Remeber people, Todd has just allowed God to work through him, if other people would do this as well, we'd be havind revivals all over. Pray that people with spirituall gifts of healing and teaching will be filled with the holy spirit and will stand up and display Gods wonders.
