lol huge open wasteland?! ha this game has to tiny sections of land 1 section of land is on disc 1 and the 2nd portion of land on disc 2. i mean dont get me wrong ive literally just completed this game and really loved every minute of it but i was dissapointed with 2 things;

1: when you complete the game, no free roam

2:waste land is tiny

if your not bothered about those points buy but if your like me and like the idea of exploring and discovery then dont bother.

It looks like it could be fun... but so far it's pretty buggy looking and some of the textures are badly rendered, but that's to be expected from a demo.

as far as taking a first person shooter and elevating it to a "new level", I'm not seeing it... at all; at least nothing special in the demo shown here anyway. :P

Rage made me Rage story is not that great the game feels unfinished like it was suddenly rushed to finish. combat gets on my nerves! there's basically no head shots, weapons are bland ammo is costly for how much it takes to kill 1 guy. Most of the time you'll be driving around for what seems no point at all or doing races to get enough money to buy ammo. They shouldve just made a twisted metal type game and been done.

@lemonlimelukey It's doesn't really have any gameplay elements similar to fallout 3, it's just the art style that's similar. RAGE isn't going to be an RPG unlike Fallout 3 which is a monster of an RPG. RAGE will be a action game, more fast paced and dependant on aiming skill.

They're both great, I'm sure, just different genres, so don't get your expectations set for an RPG or you'll be mad on release day :D

I have to say, I really like the look of this game. Theres some really cool elements at work here, but my main problem with it is that a lot of it's concepts are stolen from other games. For instance, Storyline - Fallout 3, Gameplay - Borderlands/ Bioshock, but it also has a few other little things in it too, for instance the town at the start looks an awful lot like the one in redsteel 2, and that RC bomb Idea is a blatant rip-off of black ops But I suppose all those together will make it great

Now before you say "Bethesda worked on this too." It does kinda sound like a fallout copy. I mean a (fill in the blank) fucked up earth and people hid in underground (fill in the blank)'s. But really what can you do, how else will it unravel? A parasite hit? Then how did people survive? I'll give it chance but it does look like fallout / borderlands. a lot of this stuff he's showed off has been done before jak 3 had a buggy you could get around the world in. The original medal of honor games had death animation for the Nazi's depending on where you shot them you could shoot them in the foot and they world jump up and down. The part in the demo where he electrocuted the water isn't original they did that in bioshock. the original alien vs predator game had it where the aliens could crawl on the ceiling. The game does look really good though
