  • well said.....well said.

  • This was very moving.

i came across this because I was curious about Filipino Muslims and if they accounted for any of the Filipinod in the US. Is Marlon of Moro ancestry or is he or a parent a fairly recent convert? Not that it matters. also, pardon me if the term "Moro" is offensive to Filipino Muslims.

  • Marlon. Thank you. Because of you, I'm still writing. Thank you. I will never forget you.

  • Aren't we all immigrants? besides native americans? when people tell me to go back to mexico i tell them to go back to England. they just laugh. Ignorance.

  • Ummm umm um... (tears slowly roll down my cheek) Beautiful!!!

  • wow...this was too good. I can so relate.

1st generation Canadian of migrant Labourers.

  • is that a navy barong? sa-weeeeet! isang mahal, pare!

  • This was beautiful

  • Filipino Muslim!!!! Pinoy pride!!! :)

  • @apacpaco Asalaamu'alikum from your Chicano Muslim brother

  • Wow that was beautiful.

  • great stuff!

  • nice to see someone expressing himself and not some ideal.

  • He clearly looks Filipino, you idiots.

  • Good shit

  • he's filipino

  • he said anak...that's son/daughter in filipino.

  • damn...that was mad crazy.

  • dopeass poem...i'm just a lil afraid the audience there didn't recognize that the dood was filipino.

  • it doesn't matter if people knew if he was a filipino or not, his poem was much larger than any one race. Amazing stuff.

  • damn that was deep

  • for every mispronounced syllable..

    ouch

  • DAMMMM!!!!! i can replate... sometime i want to fucking kill thoes fuckers that made fun of my FAm in the past.

  • I seen this vid 5 times and I just love it... if u agree give this commnet a thumb up!! ---------------->

  • damn i'm crying, that is so true.

  • I'm not even Filipino but I understand him. So many U.S born Americans make fun of immigrants without knowing how much we have accomplished! All those jealous fuckers that insult us or our immigrant parents can go to hell. We are doctors, lawyers, accountants, business owners and continuously strive because of the strength our ancestors have passed on to us! PEACE

  • i was laughing cuz my ex once told me how smart i was because i could speak english so good and she couldn't. Us both being filipino but me being born in the US. I said "no i'm not smart at all..you know how to speak two languages and adapt to another country..compared to that i'm not all that your smarter than me"

  • I know the feeling!

  • Wow that really made me tear up...It's so ironic how Americans have the audacity to poke fun at foreigner's english when they themselves don't know how to properly use it. And don't even talk about their spelling. They make fun of Filipinos, who by the way speak and write in tagalog, their native dialect, some spanish as well as english. Most american's don't even TRY to learn the ONE language they have.

  • brownman stand up! hope to hear more poems from u. godbless

  • hahhaha ahhh i wanna cry

  • Alhamdullilah.....MashaAllah....yan ang Noypi

  • that was real

  • wow pare astig. :) thanks for keeping our color.

  • Salaam brother!

  • filipinos stand up. beautiful...

  • dawg that was deep. It made me tear up coz' i was picturing my dad in his dad's position. The common filipino immigrant story of how our parents sacrificed so much just to get us to the "states".. of how people would make fun coz' of their deep accents.. Love the way he put direct dialouges... "anak".. my dad starts most of his sentences with that word... and it always brings me back... thanks! he has such great talent... more of him please...

  • Your part of the Group I was born with two tongues... I love the cd broken speak where i think this poem was in. I love the message. Great JoBB!!

  • misspelled my name. why stan? why? ha!
